East

1-Raptors vs 3- Bucks SS- 3-0 Raps

The Bucks are the surprise team of the playoffs so far, knocking off the Nets in convincing fashion and looking to keep that momentum going against the Raps. The Raps on the other hand are coming off of a 3-game sweep of the 76ers where both lines looked to be running at full capacity, will the Raps be able to keep that momentum going or will the Bucks duplicate their first round upset against the Raps.

Lineup wise this is a pretty interesting match-up, the Raps did sweep the season series against the Bucks in convincing fashion but with the Bucks have seemed to have found their stride and at this point in the playoffs you can almost just throw those games out. With the Bucks knocking off that game 5 Nets line its tough to just give the Raps 1st line the advantage, but with how they played against the 76ers, and how their second line took out a Bucks line in week 6 that was 4/5 of their first line its hard to bet against the Raps in this one.

If the Raps second line really does have the edge it puts the Bucks first line in a tough situation, they’ll have to beat a Raptors first line 3 games in a row who have barely lost 3 games all season. With the Raptors having home court and a deep roster that they have faith in the Bucks uphill fight in the playoffs won’t stop here. The question for this series will be whether the Bucks D really can shut down top lines, and if they can will their second line be able to keep them in it. Prediction- Raps in 4, but that’s what I said in the Bucks Nets Series.

West

1- Nuggets vs 3- T’Wolves SS- 2-1 Nugs

A pretty uneventful first round in the West brings us the second-round match-up that I can’t see anyone being disappointed about, well except maybe the Rockets and Kings. Both the Nuggets and T’Wolves swept their first round match-ups in convincing fashion, with the focus immediately shifting to this series as two of the biggest mouth’s in the LG chat face off against each other (Rise & Schizo) and although this series is only to see who gets to play for the Larry OB, serious bragging rights are on the line and you know the loser isn’t going to hear the end of it.

Lineup wise this is going to be the best series of the playoffs up to this point, these are two of the best rosters in the league from top to bottom and every game of this series is going to be a blast to watch. Season series gives the edge to the Nuggets but only slightly, two close games in the earlier part of the season until week 6 when OG bent the T’Wolves 2nd line over and, well you remember the rest, so the big question for this series will be if they have a plan to slow down OG. But with OG only getting 1 game in the first round where he looked underwhelming in a win against the Rockets, you know he’s going to be out for blood against the T’Wolves.

Though with the confidence that Rise seems to have in his second line it creates a good story-line for the series, if the T’Wolves 2nd line can win their two games against the Nugs second line it puts a lot of pressure on their top unit, the Wolves 1st line might have 3 shots at the Nugs 1st to try and steal that series, regardless this ones going to be fun to watch.
