I know I dont have hundreds of games as a G but the weird thing is to understand how can people not bid on a G with these stats.
Dont know if 16-1-0 in 6s club is considered a top G or not but i think it deserves at my opinion a single bid or show me the stats of the 64 better G so I can understand...

Win loss doesn't matter. Save percentage doesn't matter. GAA doesn't matter. Those are all affected by how your team plays in front of you. Consistency matters. Save things you should be saving first, and then worry about being able to make tougher saves. The more consistent you are at stopping a high percentage of savable shots, the better you are. Doesn't matter if you're good at stopping cross-creases if you give up two short side goals a game because you moved out of the way. Goalie is a weird one, more about the eye test than overall stats, for the most part.

Of course stats do matter to an extent, but it's much harder to gauge a goalies skill solely on stats.

Do you think im always playing with good players ? If nobody here knows me as a G I must not play with the best I guess. And consistency matters you are right. It is my 9th year playing some games NHL 6's at the position of goalie. I have a lot of experience (over 1000games as a goalie) I think thats not gonna be hard for me to have a solid season in LG as G.
I'm confident as fuck I know my worth and it is gonna be those who are chicken to try me that will lose a great opportunity.
I would NEVER sign up for a position that im not 200% comfortable. So, I can't wait to see a bunch of goalies be on waivers soon.
100% of the people that said get good in that tread never seen me play G once.
Ask an athlete is 16-1-0 is made by luck or skills, it's a no brainer.

 

I didn't say you were or weren't playing with good players I was just telling you what makes a good g in this game and why owners may not look at you just based on stats. Your win/loss record is actually the least important goalie stat. If neither you, or the other goalie are bad and letting in weak goals, and are consistent, like I mentioned, the only time you matter as a goalie is when the skaters on both teams are at parity, or close to it. THEN you influence the game, if one team of skaters is significantly better than the other, the worse team is only going to win 2 out of maybe every 20-30 games. To wit, if I played 3s with Jclaus, Skillzzy and a decent dman, in a d8 club. I could probably just leave the house, to go grocery shopping have my girlfriend ready up between games for me, and come back to a 12-0-0 record.

If you're a goalie, from an owners perspective, stats don't really matter all that much. Stats might get them to look at you, but most competent owners will want to see you play before they consider picking you up. To be honest, I would be a little chagrined if I went to a team whose owner drafted me solely because I recently went 16-1-0 in club play.

 

Im down for some practive and scrimage but nobody ask to see me play. So thats too bad. Everyone that watched me G for them will say more positive then negative about me playing G and will say i deserve a shot at a bid. Its not in 3s in all 6s carerr season game in club. I join random people that needs everytime. There is supose to be some kind of scrimmage but most of owners doesnt care.

Actually it is my best position, im way better at G then forward or defense so I think thats fair. My CR is close to the best available for the number of games I played in G. I have only 1 career lost in this NHL. Imagine if I played as much as you. We can play all day tomorrow versus if you want im 100% down to gain CR
