Connected Franchise... and LG's capability's with it!

What is Connected Franchise? It is a game mode allowing you to establish your own league and compete against other online players. Create your own league, draft your own players, and pick your own team. This game mode was introduced to Madden in 2008, and its safe to say that it’s easily the reason I play madden.


EA Sports has claimed before that this mode is in the making for NHL, but how long does it take? Knowing that Madden has had it since ‘08. EA has made quite complex games that blow NHL out the water when it comes to variety of game modes/fun. Such as Battlefield, Fifa, and UFC. When it comes to NHL we get lazy servers, 3 game modes to compete online with, and a shit soundtrack.


Connected Franchise would bring so much more life to the game of NHL. From a friend to friend competition to even a highly competitive mode that LG can use as well. Now this is just an idea and I personally would play the hell out of this. If LG were to take advantage of this mode and create leagues of their own for those of the people that don't necessarily play EASHL. Creating different tiers of skill in order to advance to the better league and so on. Now of course I know there's a lot of open space and it may be harder than what it sounds to set up.


THIS SHIT WOULD BE FUN.

 

This used to be a mode in NHL. They stripped it out years back. HUT will continue to be the main focus until idiots stop pumping $$$ into it.

 

Any ultimate team mode in any ea game, will never die. It makes them all the money. They could careless about implementing fun free gamemodes.

 

GM Connected?

 

Yea they use to have gm connected in NHL 13 and I have been hoping they would bring it back ever since. I never had an issue with that game mode and I was playing in full 30 man leagues where we played about 15 seasons before we would start it over again.

Basically the league rosters/trades/etc are handled offline, and each owner uses HUT to setup is team in-game
