Hi LG Bookmaker ChiSouthShitter back with my preseason odds to win the Calder Cup.

For anyone new to gambling, odds work in which if you make a $1 bet on someone with 3/1 (+300) odds you would win $3 bucks.

Lets get right into it!

Odds to Win the Calder Cup S35​

Syracuse Crunch +150 (1/2 odds)


@l1l Sharp l0l and @Makaaarrrr come down from the NHL and drop 10.5 mil on @Sitful to go with their 500k - 1 mil army (who are all steals imo) plus @iGabout who is a top 10 defender in the A on a send down. There is a lot of hype on this team which also boosts their odds (lots of bets would push a line).


Colorado Eagles +200 (2/1 odds)

The rainbow birds have the best center depth in the league, legit 3 first line centers picking up @TeachMe18 and @skyre5 as the free contracts. Getting @JAMIE iz GOD back on a 4 mil send down is nice and their defense is as deep as anyone especially getting @BIGJ0HN44 at 750k is insane. @Tastypeanut 5 is a top 5 goalie in the AHL.


Milwaukee Admirals +300 (3/1 odds)

@JC Enterprise and @PigsOnJupiter stole utica's top C @fuzzmiller23 with his liney @CleverFawn69854 before bidding then drop big cash on @Neil x 25 and @Mr WorldWlde 69 to solidify their outstanding defense. @R4ph Th3 G4m3r and @iCranberryz got called up (thank god) so there are still questions on their 3rd line which will be resolved by the trade deadline.


Charlotte Checkers +350 (5/2 odds)

@FrenchMoron and @Drxma return for another go at a Calder run. This team isn't as strong as last season's on paper, however French being backed by @JClaus33 knows the community as well as anyone and can find all of the diamonds. Picking of @Baaacks from Colorado is a nice add and should replicate @Goostaav's performance. Their goaltending will keep them in every game, but defensive depth is a question mark.


Utica Comets +400 (4/1 odds)


So utica returns with @l SaIty I (no pun intended) and @Brisan x6 coming over from a team swap with Bridgeport from last season with @DeIosh as the free contract. Strong management team here with a great team friendly contract dmen especially getting @Schenn on a free contract. Doing so they were able to spend big coin on @Grandma in Urn and still have decent forward depth. Goaltending could be an issue however.


Rochester Americans +500 (5/1 odds)

Well the same ole story, we got @I Nylander l and @Leniig as your management duo with @Saucing Pucks as their free contract. Not bad, they paid a hefty price on Clutch to keep him there which handcuffed them on forward depth. Defense should be solid again but losing @Shloopsgotpoops as thier starter could hurt them as well.

Hershey Bears +500 (5/1 odds)

Absolutely love the management duo for this team in @Wickedly Moist and @Studz x 7, forwards are very strong here. Look out for @MrHelixtex, he could have a breakout season. Goaltending is outstanding with @Perkis System18 and @TrT Spartan37, however there are still questions on defense. They lack a true #1 d pairing.


Cleveland Monsters +600 (6/1 odds)

Well thank god for @VVaGs82 not giving @MIKE x SCOTT the team again. Bringing in @Schreiny who is an elite 1st line C in the AHL and @BowserKOTK who just won a cup on Colorado is a night and day difference. They were able to find a lot of diamonds in the rough especially @frostynightmare who has looked excellent so far. @l GET BUSY l is transitioning fine to Center after being an elite Dman in the N.


Toronto Marlies +700 (7/1 odds)

This team will be very good again. Bringing back the brothers @Go for a celly and @BARSOUTH HOCKEY with @Colonel20 as a free contract should wreck havok. Defensive depth could be an issue but getting @iTub3 as their starter should offset it.


San Jose Barracuda +800 (8/1 odds)

This team built by @Ezreal and @MBell91 will be very competitive, defense is very strong and getting @honesrule and @HA G0T EMM on cheap contracts is excellent. Goaltending and lack of a 3rd line will hurt them.


Providence Bruins +800 (8/1 odds)

So @Broomball16 comes back but with @Sokastr7 as his free contract, which is a very nice pick up. I really like their forward depth especially if @Nifty shows up and plays. Defensive depth and goaltending questions will hamper them.


Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins +900 (9/1 odds)

This team should be in the playoffs, @TITOPUFFALOT spent all his cash on top defense which will keep them in every game. However they are lacking a true first line and scoring will be at a premium, but depth wise they are fine. If @Dense Idiot stays around, he will produce points for them.

Texas Stars +1000 (10/1 odds)


So Texas brought in new management in the likes of @PlayboiPryme and @Williams x12x, both excellent players. Somehow got @mfricha at 500k and spent their money wisely on solid defense. Goaltending will be very good with @Darcy Kuemper leading the way. @Viktomize moving to forward and at 3.75 mil is interesting though.


Tuscon Roadrunners +1200 (12/1 odds)

Trap trap trap, this team will always be competitive because of the system they run. @DEC3PTIVE 1 is one of the best managers around. Spending big on @l Freddy ll was necessary for this team. Forward depth is always good, but they are lacking high end forward talent. Goaltending is very fluid as well, @GRG allstarbear is one of the best G's around.


Manitoba Moose +1500 (15/1 odds)

@Yonnnnnnn x 13 comes back but with different management, @Berube x 9 (Tsunami) moves up as well as @iTzMagic13. @x88x Kane comes along as the free contract. This team has had issues in the preseason, particularly on defense and goaltending. They will have to rely on @Black Paperclip to continue dominating for them to make a run again.


Grand Rapids Griffins +1500 (15/1 odds)

Well looks like this team will continue the trend of being the most toxic team in the league with new management group @DONNYWOOD and poster boy @CubsCrusher14. Both skilled players and probably worth the free contracts. Getting @Reiders8663 for 8.25 mil is worth it, guy can single handedly win you games. Forwards are solid top to bottom. Lack of a true #1 dpair will be a problem come playoff time time. Trades will be made though no doubt.



Palm Springs Firebirds +2000 (20/1 odds)

Welcome to Xbox, this team is most comprised of PS4 players. So the adjustment to xbox, which is more competitive, might take awhile. They spent all their money on @Streetsmurf, let's see if he actually shows up or not. If he does they will fight for a playoff spot.


Lehigh Valley Phantoms +2500 (25/1 odds)

Do you guys like cookies? this team spent huge money on @Lucic x 17 and @Gthumbz42o for a combined 12 mil. Thats is nice and all, but who is going to score the goals? In the AHL, you need guys that put pucks in the net. The @Cookies2466 line is good, but seeing them in action, I don't think it's gonna cut it. @Angrykitten754 is a good 3rd line C on a nice contract.


Hartford Wolf Pack +3000 (30/1 odds)

No @GB521 for 12 mil this season? Memes aside @ZiggyP5 and @xl NiTeOwL lx put together a competitive team. Lacking a true first line d pair and no high end wingers, @Juul In You for 3 mil might be a bit too steep, but they had to spend money somewhere. Especially losing out on all the top guys. Goalies are a question mark.


Iowa Wild +3000 (30/1 odds)

This team will be nice and toxic all season. @Manship x 91 and @MIKE x SCOTT as the management duo, holy shit. Having those guys on free contracts are questionable, but they got some nice deals in @Skuttlebut and @SpectreGaming x which allowed them to spend up for @Cc o s i n e 18. We will see if @recyclebinhero lives up to the hype.

Springfield Thunderbirds +3500 (35/1)

Hey @meka DVA meka your team isn't terrible, Show up and play! The birds have 2 excellent forward lines with the Daily's and @flightn. Scoring goals won't be an issue. Defense solid but having @Jake GuentzeI and @the alliane on free contracts hurts the team a bit. Goaltending is decent too.


Binghampton Devils +3500 (35/1 odds)

This team is not as good as last season's team, @XenoSZN as the free contract is elite but @SmiTTy x 12 moving up from defense and on a free contract could be a problem. The baby Devils lost @patsway and @BUFFALO STAR 23 as they took management elsewhere. High end defense and forward depth will be a huge concern here but their goalies are elite.


Belleville Senators +4000 (40/1 odds)

The management duo of @tranqzz and @BUFFALO STAR 23 is solid, forwards are solid, but defense is questionable outside of Buff and @Moe Cheeks 69 who is on a very nice contract. They could potentially have the best goalies in the league but it won't matter with that defense.


Bridgeport Sound Tigers +4000 (40/1 odds)

This team had potential going into bidding but then made some real questionable trades right before (looking at you @DaYoungBuck) really hurt them. Forwards are made up CHL all stars, but this is the AHL, thats not going to cut it. They have a top dpair in @l B4SS l and @Nardo x 19 but they paid a hefty price for a PSN guy. Defensive depth is non existent as well. But hey, they have @Z3R0CR45H!


Rockford Ice Hogs +5000 (50/1 odds)

These hogs are projected to be average at best, and thats if everything breaks right. Do have some nice pieces from the old S34 Rampage crew, but spending 7 mil on @Gros Tabarnack just to play with @Amiot x 04 wasn't worth it imo. Gros is a good player but that hampers the rest of the team. @NewMapleLeafs is a great contract as well as @Cannarozzo so that line should produce. Defense will be a question.

San Diego Gulls +5000 (50/1 odds)


So we got @Pearson x 70 who is good player but @Daooust who comes up from the C, is most likely not worth that free contract. They went huge for @ArchambauIt, but he only plays 3 games a week. Not sure who else is going to win. Especially with that 500k army on defense, I expect a lot of high scoring games. They paid up on Goaltending, but it's not going to matter unless they find some defense.


Bakersfield Condors +5000 (50/1 odds)


These Condors are a tough one to judge, a lot of no names. But @patsway and @Soxfan7744 are good players. @Thibodeau I96I at 2.5 mil is excellent, but their most expensive guy is @BigD Auditor at 4.75 mil who is a solid player. I just see no real high end talent here.


Stockton Heat +6500 (65/1 odds)


This team would have had potential if @jdj71 just took paid AGM, he would have been 500k. Bringing @ll SiZZLe ll and @ll 91 ll (Wagner) in should help the locker room, both great guys. @Mayers on a 1.75 mil contract might be best in the league. Defense is iffy as well as goaltending. This team might struggle however, and @No Soy Patricia could bounce.


Ontario Reign +7000 (70/1 odds)

Hey Poopie, stop taking a free contract! Defense isn't the worst and you have some nice forward pieces. Let's hope those draft picks click, otherwise it might be a long season.



Chicago Wolves +8000 (80/1 odds)

Oui Oui, this team is made of all french guys. Their depth is going to be a huge problem, . Not really familiar with @SunBunBudZ and @fRiS3RMaST3rQc but they are CHLers on a free contract under @jyeti15s, yikes. Hopefully spending big on @Alpha x 77 is worth it.


Laval Rocket +10000 (100/1 odds)

Yeah, when your top line is @LAxCAPONE412 and @BUCKEYEx21 you're going to have issues. They are solid players, but 3rd line at best. I mean you have 8 mil left after bidding, what are you planning on doing with that? I get it @rollinj0071, you're tired of people bringing up your CHL players but that's the name of the game. You are not worth a free contract in the A.


San Antonio Rampage +10000 (100/1 odds)

Well @Saad Excuse and @bMaJuH take the free contracts which is horrible since they are average CHLers. This team is going to struggle, defense is bad and offense is bad outside of maybe one line. Good luck.
