Good luck buddy. We will see you up here next season if you're good enough! But I think the best approach for next season would be to scout and not make posts like this. If youve only played one season since NHL 17, most GM's will not recognize based on name alone.

Every season theres a guy like this. Doesnt get a bid, claims some sort of conspiracy, blames his team for his terrible numbers. Just join a scouting discord and earn a spot lol. Putting up someone elses stats to somehow validate how you feel you got looked over is stupid. That guy probably tried out for multiple teams and did well, so regardless of his stats he got a bid. AHL owners aren't like chl owners, we generally bid based off a players ability, not their stats. And we bid on players we've seen play. These cries for attention are pretty sad. Next szn earn a bid. Dont expect one. GL in chl.

 

Yeah be like me. Zip your lip, grind, scout, worry about yourself. Follow those simple rules and you will do well.

I must say you are really good! It only took you 30 shots, overtime (almost double overtime) and ur top line to finally beat me.

 

You let in 12 goals in 2 games in the CHL (given your team let up a mountain of shots) then you ECU'd in the AHL and let up 3 goals on 9 shots. Still early though and if you can lower that GAA in the CHL (will be hard since you average like 25 shots per game) then i say there is still hope for you in the AHL. But i wouldn't be flexing that it took a guy 30 shots to beat you when his team scored 5 on you BEFORE that double OT happen....

Also the next AHL game the goalie allowed 11 goals and 7 goals. Since ur a goalie i thought u would look at the bigger picture

 

missed that my bad, that was a good game but you were also playing a 2nd / 3rd NHL line with a first line in front of you. Credit where credit is due though you stopped 16/17 shots in a NHL game

 

going to say this once before i go into this comment, if i was doing a write up i would be doing a deeper dive into everything and looking at who played where and what AHL line matchup was put out but im was simply coming by and checking in on you and how you did since i'm intrigued on whether or not you get called up to the AHL.

Back to stats, youre right that goalie did do awful but now let me use your point against you, was it his team or him and would you have done better? but honestly you making noise in the AHL forums and then doing decent might just work examples would be Brickwall and Sharke_MTL. Now given that you rightfully corrected me and pointed out how bad of start the other goalie had, that could honestly be a very good chance for you to be called up. But let me be the first to tell you being a ECU and being a normal goalie is different, as a ECU you only need to play a few times a season, as a normal goalie you need to be consistent (a problem i have as well). So i wish you luck and will be checking in again to see how your FULL week has gone!

Goalie stats are meaningless. A keeper is only as good as their defense and if there are guys wide open in front, they're gonna score no matter who is the keeper. He got a bid because the person watching knew him and saw something they liked.

 

His CHL stats this year are 100% not his fault. I was in one of those games and by god I've never seen so many turnovers in our own end. He straight got fucked no lube.

 

never been scouted but i do play with good people who play in this league, with that said I'm only able to play with them because i'm decent at my position because of that my name spreads without me actually trying to spread it. play good in the league and play good with friends things take time.

ah i dont listen to these kids. 90% of them have losing records in the chl and never played a game in the NHL..... them telling me to get good is actually humorous and i welcome all the get good comments i can get. Ive already turned heads since my return and the people who have taken notice are guys that matter way more then any of these scrubs
