The Chud Report - the preseasons ups and downs

Mind you this isn’t an official league post just me trying to bring a little more to the LGBA. Only teams who had games recorded as preseason games in by 11:59 PM EST 5/19/20 were counted.


1.Grizzlies (3-0) The Grizz finished their bidding and hit the ground running at full speed. Through the pre season they finish with a 3-0 record with wins over OKC , Wizards , and LA Lakers making them the only team to make it out to week 1 perfect with more than one game played. With the level of talent on this roster , this may just be the team to beat along with the Pelicans


Players to watch: D Andoo and Tha Wall


2.Pelicans (3-1) The Pelicans so far are just one of those teams staying in their own lane. Venom Was able to surround himself with faces that are familiar to him, but unfamiliar to most of the league. That gives them the element of surprise and will have teams guessing their individual play styles. Thos roster made it through preseason with a 3-1 record with all three wins being blowouts and their one loss coming from the 1-3 Knicks


Players to watch: Venom OF and A Sniper


3.Lakers (2-1) Same team , same owner , almost the same team. Zero returns as owner for the Lakers this season and brought back a few faces from last season along with some new ones. This team made the playoffs last year and look to make it deeper into the playoffs this year. With the addition of big man SpotJr and a few rookies they ran through this preseason with a 2-1 record with two convincing wins over the Raptors and Knicks , but a tough loss to the Grizzlies.


Players to watch: Dat xx , Zero , and bGon


4.76ers(1-0) Now this team to me could be a sleeper this year. They end preseason 1-0 with a 68-61 win over the Suns. Not much has really been seen from this team yet so it's really hard to see where they really shit, but that win says they might just have the right idea. Vik Snagged ItsDashDummy(Everythingnike1) for just under 3 mil in bidding to give one of his lines a more defensive minded PG. Only time will tell when it comes to this team success.

5.TrailBlazers(1-0) The Blazer opened with a 1-0 effort going into week 1 behind a 20 point victory over the Bulls thanks to a 28 point 12 assist and 8 steal game from Rainy iPM. While the team's whole line up scored double digit points I still feel it's going to take a little more for them to end the streak (In my 16 played seasons , 13 team up and 3 pro am. I’ve never seen a Portland team touch playoffs) Where this team ends, I haven’t a clue.


Players to watch: Rainy iPM and Finals MVP KhoreyHouks


6.Bulls(1-1) This is going to be this team’s first dance or their only dance. Bulls owner Ayztraks is entering his first season as an owner and rookie year at the same time, this is a bold yet confident move to enter the LGBA and jump into the deep end without floaties. We’ll just have to wait and see what this Chi-Town team can bring us.


Players to watch: Ayztraks and xPaca


7.Suns(1-1) Same roster , new team. This Suns roster is almost a resurfaced 76ers team from season 22. This team went 1-1 with a 36 point win over the Knicks and close loss to the 76ers. This team from past seasons has normally has a line of solid defenders to help give the team the edge in crunch time. With what they have had before along with the add on of Two Lag shots this team should be able to snag a playoff spot.


Players to watch: Squid , Lag Shots , and ThankyouHinkie


8.Knicks(1-3) This team showed that they aren’t where they need to be yet , but they did hand the Pelicans their only loss of the preseason which shows that they have it in them to get the job done, it’s just the matter of making it happen and locking in. Free melos Hornet team was red hot at the end of season 22 , let see if his team can catch that spark again…..

9.Wizards(0-1) Dream is back for another season as owner and scored one of the best wings in the league in Kobsos. The only question is will then have enough talent to make a run for the playoffs. This Wiz teams only game was a 67-62 loss to the Grizzlies. They have the star power , but are their role players going to be able to give them enough support to finish these games on top.

10.OKC Thunder(0-1) Rise is back again and is already in rebuild mode. This Thunder squad went 0-1 in a devastating blowout loss to the Grizzlies and may be looking for redemption in their rematch Thursday at 10 P.M. EST. Let's see if Rise can get his team to mesh together in time for Wednesday’s games. Plenty of time for them to get right and become a force behind Rise’s leadership

11.T’Wolves(0-2) This team jumped at OKC’s fire sale by landing Froggy to add to the talent they already have. Only way for this team to go is up.

12.Raptors(0-2) This Raptors team is in the same boat as the T’wolves. Yet another team that snagged a good piece from OKC in Yung Tickle. Maybe Tickle is that missing piece they need to win these games.
