Chances are some of you guys who win awards and got nominated are going to be a little butt hurt but just remember this is all for fun and every once in a while, don’t be a bitch and just laugh at yourself.

The Heat Up Memorial Trophy

This trophy is to be awarded to the member who's shown the biggest dedication to his LG career, but season after season and day after day just keeps being a nuisance to his own path.

@Laveir917 - A young and fresh new member of the LGCHL PSN, this guy has come with a plan to become the next best thing and is not afraid to let the people know. Unfortunately a few bad games here and there and a behavior some would consider as toxic leads to very few games played at the CHL level.

@puckislife1717 - A more experienced and accomplished player as far a club wins go, this new version of himself is determined to get drafted and will do anything it takes to hear his name called in the seasonal LGPSN draft. Sadly, that night ended up being one of disappointment for Pucky as the things he really needed to change weren't some he was willing to let go of; his self-centered ways and harrassing behavior.

@datsyukmagicman - This is a new man, a changed man, he is determined to get what he wants and he doesn't care what you think. Just let him Heat Up. If you ask him, he's a better person, a better player who can hit cuts make good plays sometimes even score goals. He'll also tell you the people of LG are fake and work together to prevent him from heating up. All he really wants if to play with good people, make good plays and heat up. Is this version of himself finally the one that will take him to the next level? Has he really changed? You guys make that decision.

The Thrift Shop Special Award

This award is to be handed out to the player who's been shopped around the most, without necessarily giving his team the best return.

@nehxC - @iCallsoWhat55's favorite LGer. Deon spent most of this season wondering why the fuck anyone would pay 9.25M for him and got 6 different answers as to why he was worth it for his team as this is how many teams he ended up spending time with. He at least won 12 games, so it wasn't as bad of a season as some of the other nominees for this award, but he packed his bags about as often as he did the previous 6 seasons.

@xCHiiEF-96 - If you tuned in the shoutbox on Sundays around 7pm, you'd know that it was usually around that time that Chief would find out what team he was going to be playing for the following week. After being traded 6 times this season, his final destination seemed to as least be the one where he had to most success, collecting 4 of his 7 wins in San Jose. Let's just say it was a season to forget?

@Badbradguy5 - Brad this season was offered a solid 6.25M contract, thanks to his 22 win season on XB and his previous West-Host success on PSN. Unfortunately he's another one of those guys that got to pack his bags a lot. He got traded for a 3rd round pick, 5-win Rivnasty and 3-win ivegotyour6 1 for 1 this season. Somehow also ended up in the package for KushNasty. Fortunately for him, he found a decent home in Vegas where he got 6 of his 11 wins on the season.

The Queen's Blunder Award

This award is given to the Owner/Management team who made the most head-scratching move(s).

@cHELIOS-7x - I mean, can we all agree that applying for Owner was the biggest head-scratcher here?

@Seattle's Management - Where should we start? Think we might have 16.5 reasons why. Some might wonder how a team can afford putting so much cash on one player. Well we found out money was never an issue this season with this bunch, especially not in trade talks.

@Spray_and_pray_ - Paying for a GM that has a tendency to just not give a single fuck about LG? Getting him banned only to lose your next 18 games, FF'ing 13 of those? Come on man. You're a good dude Spray, but why do you keep doing this to yourself?

And the Winner of the Queen's Blunder Award is - @cHELIOS-7x

The Hawaiian Tropic Trophy

This trophy is to awarded to the goalie who's needed the most lotion after seeing their opponents light the lamp so much.

@Fooldawg83 - Believe it or not, @TrevorZegras tagged him with a 2S before the season started. Expectations were high I guess. Welp, a 12-17-1 record with a .685 Save% and a 4.51 GAA isn't a particularly good look. At least Detroit gets to keep him now right?

@BroadwayCJ97 - When you hear him talk about himself, none of this is his fault. The PSN king of broadcasting has been anything but royalty between the pipes this season. 11 wins in 40 games. Averaging 4.52 goals against per games. Let's just say he wasn't just giving to the community on the microphone. Hopefully the Blues get a bounce back season from him in S16, because yes, they gave him a 2S and have kept him around since then.

@STLstash - The only other goalie with a sub .700 Save% at .695. Stash actually started the season 4-1-0 for San Jose. Unfortunately, he followed it up by only winning 3 more games, losing 19 in regulation and two in overtime to end the season. Let's just say the stat line hurts the soul. At least he gets to go back to bidding now.

Honorable Mention - @jasonx1755 who gave up the most goals this season with 208, but kept a Save% above .700 and a GAA under 4.00.

The Back to the Future Award

This award is to be handed out to a player who came back from a stint away from the league, whether it was because of a ban or for a brief retirement, but might have been better off staying away.

@Rivnasty - Expectations were high for Riv in his return to LGPSN. After all, the man plays RW for one of the better clubs on PSN in Hotel California. What could possibly go wrong? Apparently just about everything, including an 8.5M contract, being traded from one bad team to another, a mere 5 wins, an ESHL team that couldn't make Top 32 and finally a household that didn't seem too keen of his Life Gaming ways. Will he reconsider the whole LG thing?

@gunass0910 - Another player with high expectations coming into this season. The former NsU leader and self-proclaimed stud was back in the LG realm this season and looking to dominate. Well let's just say it didn't go quite as planned. Another member of the 5-win Club. Gunass had an 8-game losing streak in the middle of the season, before finally calling it quits two games into Week 8 following six straight losses. See you again next season?

@meka DVA meka - Baris came back and decided to be a free contract on PSN this season. Gosh I like me some Baris, but why take on a Free Contract and show up for 15 games? Anyways a poor 6 win showing on a team that made taking a beating a habit all season long. Please don't take a Free Contract again Baris

The firemike0288 Memorial Trophy

This trophy is to be awarded to the manager(s) who seemed to help their team lose games more than they did win games.

@Paradis-7117 - I believe at this point he knows it, but it's time to let other people do the managing. Paradis didn't end up having the worst season of the people on this list, but what he did do is insert himself on the only line that was successful this season for the Rangers and proceeding to help @Snizzah lose his perfect 15-0-0 record on December 15th. Para had 3 wins at the time. You're a good dude Para, but no more management, you're terrible at it.

@Markz_51 - Sucks because he's one of my favorite teammates I've ever had. A true beauty of this community. But a 8-16-3 record and a -31 as a Free contract just cannot happen. If you truly wanna do management Markz, please pick 2 worthy free contracts, have them bid on you and make you AGM, and run the show from there.

@Jlm1410 / @Mreedxr - Nashville lost 18 games in a row this season. They still managed to do better than this management duo. After refusing to admit most of his success was due to the huge advantage he was playing on, Reedr took on a free contractfor Jlm. They combined for a 9-37-4 record with a -77. Let's just pray this duo doesn't return for the better of the league.

The Friendly Opponent Award

This is to be awarded to the player who has showed up this season and seemed to be trying to help opponents hit new career highs more than winning virtual hockey games.

@DrWally - At the very bottom of the +/- column this season with whopping -62. Highlights of the season for him were definitely his 4 wins, against NSH, DET, CGY and WPG who we all know presented the golden standard for winning. Wally ended the season on an impressive 9 game losing streak. Hard to blame him for not showing up in Week 9, his team giving up 8 goals or more at least 5 times this season while he was on the ice.

@WhoseMans--- The 20 game winner himself was back this season. How could he go for 750k after such a good season? Well STL, VGK and NJ found that out quickly as the 80 ping advantage seemed to have been an advantage he just couldn't live without. 3-20-3 record this season with 22 points and a -54. We thank you for your service to the LG scrub hunting community.

@BeasT_RickO_Qc - When you have QC in your name, you just can't be defeated. Well this guy proved us all wrong. Bit of a curveball here as this guy got called up very late. But he somehow managed to finish with the 15th worse +/- having only played 7 games. Yes you heard correct. A 0-6-1 record with a -33 in his 7-game stint in the Big Apple. Impressively awful.

Honorable Mention - @Pxnarin who took a 17-1 beating with 5 ECU's. You truly hate to see it.

The Golden Toupee Award

This award is to be handed out to the Manager who had the most epic meltdown when things went south, honoring exiting POTUS.

@KBI13I - This came from left field for anyone not close to KB. Not that we know too many of those. But over the last few years there had been one consistent thing about the LGPSN community and that was KB grinding the game, mainly smallies, about as much as Streetsmurf if not more and managing a subpar LGPSN team. This time around tho it didn't end up with him having to boot someone in a playoff game or anything like that, but more so an epic meltdown calling out his goalie, threatening to quit, letting his GM gift the whole league, before finally getting the boot. Thank you for more free content KB. We all appreciate to some extent.

@cHELIOS-7x - For seasons this guy has applied for Owner and begged for a chance in the NHL, no matter what console. The problem being; he's had little to no success as a player on either console/league. So guess what happens when a guy like that takes on a NHL team? Usually a lot of toxicity, people quitting and others threatening to. In the end we've all seen or heard about the epic meltdown in a party that was streamed by Dangs. Man finally made the decision to leave, which turned out to be a blessing for Winnipeg.

@Spray_and_pray_ - His hilarious meltdown when @McLxvinn did what even the most naive people of LG coulda guessed and no showed for yet another week of LG. Spray took on the Action Centre and got his free, yet not so free contract banned for a couple seasons. Then his team proceeded to lose 18 in a row and 13 of those were FF's. Forcing the league to take action, having LGPSN Commissioner and 14-25-7 NHL G @kuddy-76 take over as Owner. Can you smell the NML incoming?

The Appendix Trophy

The Appendix Trophy is the opposite of the Hart, being arguably the least important organ in the human body this award will be given to the least important player on a team.

@ginger2001 - Not trying to shit on the guy, cause he's a good dude (JaY's words) and he had a decent season. But when you're 1 of 2 guys with a negative +/- who's played the whole season on a team that won the Presidents Trophy with 128 points. It's safe to say you weren't the heart and soul of the team.

@KeEn_CJ - The Florida Panthers fought for first place in the division and for the William Jennings award until the very end, but it wasn't because of this guy. He did what he had to do which is show up for his 3 games every week. But his 13-15 record compared to Vezina Winner to be @VEXEloQuence's 38-14 shows how little impact he's had on this team.

@Chipy-ox - The Columbus Blue Jackets got 112 points as a team this season and it sure wasn't because Chipy was leading the way. The only player on the Jackets to play below .500 and also the only one with a negative +/-. Maybe next season he'll heat up with swag on the Texas server.

The Goliath Award

This award is to be handed out to the team who seemed like it couldn't fail and still found a way to collapse in the most epic fashion.

The Carolina Hurricanes - Yes. This is not a dream. @JClaus33 and @CaLL Me Jakoo as a management duo failed to not only win the cup, but to even make playoffs. That's after a few player gifts they got. At least according to the community present in the shoutbox at the time of the trades. Is it the end of the JClaus era on PSN?

The Los Angeles Kings - @Goostaav, @Boughss, @Grumpee 18, @Tidan-16 and @Parihse all on the same roster? What could possibly go wrong? Well apparently everything as the early favorites to win the division end up not even fighting for a playoff spot there at the end.

The Toronto Maple Leafs - Coming off a 128 points season in Season 14, expectations were that the Leafs would go on another run this season. They did not have a bad season, but at the end of the day, expectations don't matter if you do not meet them. Les Pingouins de Pittsburgh are playoffs bound.

And the Winners of the Goliath Award are - The Carolina Hurricanes

The Spike Lee Award

The award is given to the member of the community who is around the most without actually being in the league.

@ColeMerKs - Yeah, that's CJsnipes. He's still very much around, yet hasn't been in the league since S12 when he last owned. Aside from his awful tag, Cole is actually a nice guy. Will we ever see you hit the signup button again?

@Leveskii 11 - I mean can you go a day without this guy popping in the shoutbox? Man's journey to putting aside his XB reputation was quickly slowed down by his lack of winning on PSN and his habit of calling people out over club games.

@AlexTurcotte - Is it the real one? If only. But nope this is Hazee. He hasn't played PSN in 2 seasons, but he never misses an opportunity to remind us of his HUT Champs record or how he's a simp for some random Tik Tok minor, mixing in a few chirps here and there.

And the Winner of the Spike Lee Award is - @Leveskii 11

The Locked Up Memorial

This Memorial is dedicated to players who have seen their season cut short by their actions and will have a couple more season to reflect on it.

@At_Sharkie - The shoutbox hasn't been quite the same since Sharkie left us this season. The Jets have gotten significantly better since his departure though. We will never forget Sharkie's dedication to his craft. A true reminder that LG is for people of all ages. Long as they can watch their language.

@TrippyNav - The 2-Times himself made his way to LG's Maximum Security Prison this season following the weakest AC to date on LGPSN. The LG softies stan a new king in @Love 2 Rag. Now as one who's often butted heads with Nav, I can honestly say I miss our interactions cause there's no one quite like him when it comes to speaking his mind and reminding everyone of his superiority.

@henny_16 - Jordon didn't even get to play a game before he was out. Now unlike the other nominees here, no one got him banned, he was just faced with a one-way ticket to Winnipeg and decided to call it quits. Can anyone really blame him?

They will all be missed some way somehow.

A good captain goes down with his ship. Lot of folks on losing teams dodge in the last 2 weeks because they have to walk their cat or drive their mother to the chiropodist. But I'll take my beating like a man with ECU lineups to avoid forfeits in this league unlike others who just gave out free wins that had major implications on playoff seeding. Congrats to all the award winners! Put this one on the shelf right next to your Dundie.
