Here are the key points on how the format will work: This event is scheduled to have a live LAN final in Orlando FLA where 4 players (2 from NA & 2 from EU) will play for the $6,000usd top prize For NA we will have 4 separate qualifiers (2 days a piece, Sat & Sun). Players can sign up for all 4, or play in one. The 4 qualifier winners will play in a bo3 series Feb 3rd to determine which 2 players will represent North America. The Winner of the 1st qualifier gets to pick their opponent How each qualifier will work Qualifiers are Sat Sun of each week (Starting Jan 8th). All players will be randomly put in 1 of 4 separate double elimination brackets. All games vs your opponent is a best-of-one (BO1). All rounds will have a default date and time. If the bracket is caught up and both opponents wish to play earlier than the next scheduled time, they may do so. However, both opponents cannot flex to a later time (only earlier). Here are the key dates (all times are GMT): Signup Weekend - December 29 to January 15 Each bracket will be generated after the signup deadline for each weekend has concluded. The main reason xbox is NA only and Europe is PSN, is we are already dividing the prize pool in half for NA & Eur, we didnt want to divide it by 4. Its important to remember this year this event is only online. When LANs return we can fly finalist in and play on any console.
