The truth? The combination of the fact that you don't play with or against 90% of the NHL community plus the fact that your statistics are average for the CHL makes you not a valuable asset worthy of a draft pick. Unless you wow'd an owner in some tryout and were some sleeper pick, there's a lot of risk taking you blindly and getting return on your investment either by production or trade value.

 

And it’s definitely not helpful to be asking for this attention. Just play and you’ll get there eventually
