Question for anyone, Anyone else finding the putting in this game extremely easy? So far ive just been playing in my career mode and around 10%. But in my first 2 tiger challenges i probably sunk every putt. Even putts from 68 feet. All you have to do is hit A to get the line, and figuing out the power is super easy... Im hoping this is just the settings or something when you start out, Anyone know
LOL... Increase the difficulty and that magic putt camera isnt available. Try hard or tour mode. Also, if the pins are set for easy it makes putting 10x easier because generally the pin is on a level surface that is easy to hit to.
Yep, Tour Pro mode doesn't show you the putting line so you need to judge it for yourself by reading the break lines. I am assuming that any leagues we do with TW would be done with Tour Pro settings... at least I hope so.
lol....too funny. Putting is actually my most difficult task on Tour Mode. When I make a putt, it actually seems like an achievement.
Thats good to know - cuz anything can happen on Tour Mode, no matter how good you are at putting. Now back to leveling up my created golfer.
Yup, in tour mode you can't just pick a club and let it fly. You actually have to think about which club to use and what type of shot you want to hit. btw for anyone that cares...maxing your guy out to 110% will make him look like a goofball. I suggest purchasing either the all pro items unlock or the 110% unlock if you want to dress your character as you please and still have 110%. Also, these locks are able to be used multiple times on any character you use.
one thing that ticks me off on putting, is when you have a 4 foot putt, and the meter is at 5 feet... i always hit it short, i can never max my swing out
I'm having a bitch of a time putting. Usually I'm on the green in regulation and 3-putt...it's pissing me off. I should probably watch the tutorial to see what I'm missing out on...since it's a rental from Gamefly.
I use the right thunmbstick alot to power up or down while putting - but I never know how much to use....does anyone have any thoughts of how much power (i.e. right thumbstick) to use while putting. If any?
From my experiences, that's about right. It's a little less on putts uphill, a little more on those downhill.

you guys are saying to adjust the percentage on the ball correct? I flipped my sticks around...just like kicking on Madden.
