    240+ legends!

Hopefully they have Terrell Davis so that he can have his signature salute.

4 more months or hopefully earlier.

The stadiums already look lively (if you have new Game Informer).

Hopefully the weather effects are sick and actually effect the game.

If they get some decent servers and hire some new bug testers, this might put Madden to shame.

the game is set to release before madden. I'm going to buy both. Hopefully 2k8 lives up to the hype.

Being that I'm not one of the people that worshipped at the 2k altar even when they did have the NFL license I'm skeptical. Teams of legends thrown together. Are there going to be random nobodies to fill the gaps? with 240 legends, assuming you had equal numbers at every position, would be enough for what, 5-6 teams?

I've never been a 2k fan in any way, shape or form. I'm an EA man. But the game sounds, and appears from this past issue of Game Informer, freaking sweet. Did you happen to catch that article? If there are 30 teams, that's 8 to a team. It's probably mainly skill position players.

There are a lot of skill position players on the list but there are also a number of OL, DL and Kickers/Punters. I am excited because 2K knows how to make a game with solid gameplay and I love having a choice. I am sure the choice will be BOTH for me! LOL! One thing that I am wondering about is the editing features; will it be a strong feature like in a Winning Eleven soccer game or will 2K just stick with the basics like create a player and not able to change team names, edit players, or even change the uniforms?

IGN had a good article about customization. Apparently you can edit uniforms and teams(including cities they play in and everything) but not stats. Makes sense I guess since they're legends. The game seems interesting, but I never cared for 2k's gameplay to begin with.

gotta link? I never cared much for 2k either, but the GI article made it sound great. I'll probably rent it or check out the demo before I decide whether to buy it or not.

Everyone will be thanking 2K after this one. Maybe not this year, but the 09 series games will be the best of all time for football.

Well I'm glad they're back, even if I don't like their style of game. It forces EA to actually do something with Madden to keep it on top. I love how IGN notes in one of the Madden articles how all the features are coming back at the same time that they'll have competition.

ahh i see the back door now maybe somebody can CAP the real NFL teams With Uniforms, the ability to add logos via the hard drive unis, locations, if you can cap coachs and playbooks itd be an assload of work but people did this in WE9 and that was a lot more teams so its possible if they do it right.
