My job is to try and get the guts of how the league works set-up. Gameplay, real or user created fighters, weight classes, etc. I will defer to Gerbox - he is the guy who really pushed us - and I believe he will be the lead guy on all gameplay questions. I do no one thing - drug testing - NOT mandatory
i would use CAF not career fighters. since when you use CAF everyone gets the same amount of points to put in their guy.
But then you are all base fighters with level 1 technique. Muay Thai fighters wouldn't have head kicks, BJJ guys have no rubber gaurd basically the game would suck hard.
81 CAF's get level 3 moves. With that said I'd much rather see real fighters used across 5 weight classes.
But who would take the worst fighter of a division? I'm not very good and if i get a ****ty fighter, i dont think i'm going to win any match lol
CAF is nice because everyone has the same attributes, you cant play with him in career mode and he will stay an 88 overall or less. This lets there be an unlimited amount of people in the league and keeps everyone at an even slate, with their own unique style. CAF is better then UFC fighters imo.
The absolute worst fighter is still in UFC for a reason. Everyone has their advantages and disadvantages. In previous LG team league seasons I was on the NEW YORK ISLANDERS for Christs sake. Nobody cried about the fact we were a glorified AHL team and our best player was Doug Weight. Play with the hand that is dealt you.
Random draft is perfect, I only see around 20 guys signed up, the 20th best fighter is still high 80's and has a chance to win every fight. I say we do a serpentine draft and everyone gets 2 fighters, thoughts?
You can also spread out weight classes, everyone doesn't have to be in the same weight class. Personally I'm so sick of only fighting light heavyweights.
