GOOD JOB! I wasn't fucking crazy thinking it could be done. I have not had luck in the goalie department at all. It seems like thats the only thing holding me back currently.
What the fuck? Anyone notice that you can hold on to the pass button and the push puck ahead and not let go of the puck? Hopefully thats fixed.
To tie up a player you need to hold up on the RS and then skate into them not just hit up like you would in a checking motion. EA kind of fibbed on the physics engine in saying we could skate into people to tie them up. I'm sure it will happen in their 3 year plan but right now they are using a mixed physics with both engines. If you watch carefully there is a slight blimp/delay when checking, this IMO is the new physics being "switched on"
Farva You just noticed that now? I found that 3 minutes into the demo. I thought it would be talked about alot more since you can just continually push the puck everywhere lol Im sure it will be fixed, you would think so anyway.

I would say about 75% of the time I try this my player doesn't even make contact, just skates into the forward acting like hes not even there and skates past him. The other 25% is a light bump that takes my defenseman out of the play longer than the forward.
It takes some precision, i'm glad it's not easy to do. It's an improvement from last year, but here is to looking forward to more and better physical contact infront of the nets.
