NHL'ers playing in the CHL

    I've seen guys requesting to play in the CHL, to help out teams.

    I need to know if there is actually enough interest for this, as it would cause a mid to major change in the CHL system.

    For this to work correctly, a "NHL'er" would have to be assigned to a CHL team like a regular user, but here's the problem, they should only really be used as "fillers" so regular CHL players can get a chance to earn their pro status, But being on a Team's roster would have them count as a roster spot when i do random assignments for new users.

    So for me to try to support this, i need to know if there is a big interest for this. So are there any NHL'ers interested in playing in the CHL to help CHL teams meet scheduling?

    Yes, I am more than willing to play some CHL games when I dont have my NHL games. In order for this site to grow I think the NHL and CHL need to be active and successful.

    I think that it is a good idea, not something that should be used out right if you have CHL players available to you, but I do know that so far, I have had a player get ECU'd minutes before a game, in pre season and for every game in the regular season so far. with the impatience of other teams, wanting to get the game going, and only two modes of contacting someone (the site or xbox live) it is hard to actually find someone to fill that spot. I know the same thing will happen if NHL players want to come down, but at least it makes the pool of possible players available to you bigger, and you might just get someone.

    Yeah i play down because i am an owner but as soon as i get enough players that need games i will stop playing and just organize games

    We probably should put a limit on the number of NHLers can go down and play in the CHL...I would hate to see 5 NHLers on the ice in a CHL game...that is of course we allow this.

    If this does happen, this is the balance that has to be found. Where this helps the CHL play more games, not actually hinders in the other way.

    why don't we do what we did last season, and have management have the ability to play in chl games. alot of scouting opportunities! plus it'll get those games played

    how would it work with there being a mix of affiliates for each chl team? just have a designated list of teams each person could play for so there is no issue with guys just stacking one side of chl games? lol
