Of course some of the rules will be altered, but the sportsmanship rules and such are a good base. Swine isworking on a complete set of rules (things like wraps and such will probably be removed from those old rules). I have created a database for the NHL players only (no HUT Live or anything at this time). Each team owner will have to set their line-ups using this tool (which I am asking to be integrated directly into the scoreboard - but we will need to see real interest before I will be getting this programming done. The idea is each set period (could be week, pre-game or season or some other time frame) all teams will enter 15 forwards, 8 D and 3 Goalies. There will be a salary cap for these 26 players. If your team at or under the cap - for that time period you may be able to switch in any of these 15 forward into your 12 forward line-up 8 d men for 6 spots and 3 Goalies for 2 spots. Dispute If any other owner plays a game against someone with a roster apparently in violation (having players not in the list) then that owner should do the following: 1. Advise the other owner before or during game if possible to allow that owner to correct the error and have game restart; 2. If after the game has finished, take a picture of the complete line-ups and submit to the league commishes; That is how we will combat cheating. At this time, I do not anticipate that we will be able to insert Cancer Cards, HUT live cards and such into the cap - because there is really no way for us to know which version of Steven Stamkos you are using. I feel we will use the base number, and consider the HUT card or Cancer or whatever a boost (you can use whatever version of Stamkos you have and we will treat it as the base player). Again, because we cannot track boosts, players will be fully able to boost their players as they see fit. Scoreboard - likely using a version of the NHL singles league scoreboard (perhaps with OCR to take the picture of the team stats). If this becomes successful, we anticipate using a Division system, where at the end of each cycle top 3 teams get promoted, bottom 3 relegated, and middle 4 stay put.
Yes, those will be described in detail with the rule book. Swine and I have been bouncing around 8 games per cycle (week), and that you would likely play 2 games each against 4 other members per cycle to make the 8.
