Whats next for LG if no 6v6 play?

I disagree, this whole sh*tstorm means nothing to the casual fan, or people who have xb1/ps4 but are indifferent to the NHL series, they still don't give a sh*t.

All this does is affect the core players of EASHL that have been neglected annually since the inception of Money Grab Mode (HUT) back in NHL 11.
With the lack of effort put into the game mode, it's very ironic that there's even talk of it being left out, almost as if the neglect has gotten so bad that they forgot it even existed.
I'll admit, that's a bit dramatic, but it's definitely annoying to see the potential for this game mode, and have them at least try to make improvements from 09 to 10, only for it to be put on the back burner indefinitely.

In short, no I don't think this was any sort of marketing plan, just simply par for the course. EASHL hasn't been the baby of the family for a while now, and the parents that are the EA devs definitely have a favourite child.

Clearly shows 1-12 online play. I know it doesn't confirm eashl but at least lobbies or otp will be in the game.

 

It really doesn't. None of these retail places get any more or less information than another. They either type it up to what they think, have the actual description or fill it in with something random they think applies. Any or all of them could be typos or just taken off a previous year as an educated guess. Bestbuy just had a less educated person fill in the blanks?

It's already been stated that any of them can't be taken as any sign or anything.

 

Best buy last year had nhl 14 advertised as 1-4 players online and no one freaked out about that

 

One thing I haven't really heard anyone bring up is the lack of EASHL related pre-order stuff. They've pretty much had the pre-order gear in every game since NHL10 if I recall correctly.

Granted that could be EA trying to make a few more bucks by not giving away free boosts slots...

 

They didn't giveaway boosts , just stupid creamsicle equipment last year. Honestly they've given away less and less EASHL stuff in preorders every year so it doesn't surprise me.

 

Ah, last year futureshop fucked up and didn't know where the pre-order codes were when I went to pick-up my game. I also usually have most of my boost slots unlocked from the early release anyways so I usually don't bother with the pre-order gear.

 

Preorder code was e-mailed a couple days after the game released (if you purchased online). I did this with futureshop, and when I got the codes I returned the unopened game (also bought a preorder copy from eb games), and traded it for GTA V IIRC.

The development team is trying to woo the other devs and new players at Gamescom. They want to show off how amazing everything looks. They're not showing any of the game modes since they're all exactly the same.

They haven't even announced ultimate team for it, but we know ultimate team will exist because of the "Ultimate Edition" available for next-gen consoles right now.

 

Its because they want people to play HUT..... They want more and more people to play. Thats why they give away pucks for playing ANY game! Hoping people get addicted. By giving away free packa that can help people get addicted... You can no longer play ANYTHJNG without getting aomething HUT related... They are trying to force it on people hoping they all play! THATS IT

It's Official, NHL 15 on NEXT-GEN will not have EASHL.

Found the back of nhl 15 on costco, proving that EASHL will not be in the game. Look at players that can play online.

 

If this is true I'm done playing NHL.
