I'm actually really looking forward to getting onto this tournament now, especially round 4! It'll be pretty close to my real life golf game!
That is to schedule any game with anyone from the site. If you want to schedule 4 rounds of golf, you can put it there. If you want someone to help you through story or play the crucible on destiny, you can create a pick up game. Kind of a cool feature that doesn't get used as much. LGHL uses it ALOT for scouting games but that is about it.
Well, I had 13 mph Wind, and If you can make sure you play a day its 5 or less you will probably beat my score..... Wind looks to be a big factor on this course.
Just holed out for eagle in my 1st round at Ballentyne, I said record that not sure how far back it records lol Edit- Figured out how to upload and uploaded it to the site!
Geez, started -11 after round 1, thinking all was going to be fine. Then played rounds 3 & 4 in 13 mph winds with a final 2-round aggregate of +14. So -2 for the Shawshank tournament. That Saturday-Sunday course pairing will chew you up, spit you out. My goal now is to play the Sunday course under par in a leisure round.
The Sunday round may have been a little excessive. The firmness will those small greens makes it virtually impossible. I think the Saturday round made a great "tournament" course/round. It's all a learning process, in design and the game. There's no doubt that Sunday round is a challenge though. If I could go back, I probably would have put the Firmness to what Saturday is, that would have made this tournament REAL interesting!!
i've been saying that i want a challenging course to make me work for a score, and you created one. it was very frustrating while playing...i'm reminded of the US Open years back at Bethpage (I think?) where the entire field was complaining about unfair green conditions. I have to replay "Friday" after continuing but thats the gamble i took not playing 4 consecutive rounds i guess. The double breaks on short putts make it really interesting, im dreading sat/sun LOL
I played my first rd again to see if it would let me go to the 2nd rd I got to the tee for the 2nd rd and it says im still on my first rd so im done with this you all have fun I've had enough.
Damn, just had the most frustrating round of golf ever in the 3rd round of Shawshank. Completely forgot how to putt. Missed two 5 footers and a handful of others that I sink the majority of the time. Going to have to remember how to putt if I want to leave myself any chance of staying near par for that gauntlet of a final round. This game was way less stressful when I sucked at it.
Wow! That 1st major tournament @ Shawshank was challenging! I totaly screwed up my 2nd round... Played 2 warmup rounds (-7, -9) before playing my tour round and scored even par with easy greens and winds... I've never felt so much frustration about how bad I play a video game! I'm very happy with my 3rd and 4th round score tho! Mastering flop shots and chip shots is key around the sunday's course... finished with an acceptable -7... Heading up to briar hill!
