That was a very emotional first round for me. I was even through the first 9 (good for me) but had a weird shot on 11. Clean lie, clean connect with a LW normal (so 75 yards) at 91% power. Damn thing only went 35 yards and I ended up buried in sand right at the bank. Tried to flop out but hit the bank. All downhill from there for a triple bogey. Next couple holes were rough, I think I was just frustrated, but then on 17, I hit my first ever hole in one (added it to media). Finished with a birdie on 18 to at least end on a good note.
Fps seemed ok for me on PS4 but still coming with a golfing tale of woe lol. I missed so many putts at Logans Farm, if the ball wasn't in the right spot was very breaky and I read the breaks quite badly today. AWillTheTP, I also had an ace on 17 (on media) and a couple of nice eagles. Hope to do better on Pinelakes.
After playing pretty well at Logan, my game started to seriously wane. I had no excuses at pinelakes. I know the course and have played well there before, I really like it too. Even the wind was right down. I just couldn't get anything going, I missed lots of short putts and generally played ill thought out shots over both of my rounds. Well played dylan42 on your current over all standing of -69 for both events. I felt that I should have at least caught you at the top today, but my game just wasn't good enough. Only one eagle in 6 rounds didn't help either. Good luck to those yet to play. Edit - I found that the FPS at Logan was pretty bad, I didn't get any below 100% shots because of it though. A shame because it is a wonderful course. Hopefully HB can sort it out with the next update?
Thank you m8, and nice scoring at Logans. Am convinced my score at Pinelakes isn't enough, 2nd round I managed a reasonable score, but left a lot out there. I enjoyed the course and the struggles.
