Forfeits are rampant!

What is the league doing to address management/teams/players that are quitting on the season? The amount of forfeits have been piling up the last 10-14 days. Just curious as to the rules around this and any possible suspensions that may be handed down.

 

Why suspend management? They can't make their team post availabilty or show up.

 

Maybe they just hate their GM/Owner or team, or even the game. Either way I agree it does seem ridiculous.

 

I understand the management having issues with players. I've been apart of a team when this took place and was held accountable. I'm just wondering if said players are being reported for this by the management if nothing else.

 

If management did their job they'd find replacements. We have only forfeited 1 game in the last 2 weeks and have been eliminated the whole time. Players need to be punished but management needs to pick up their lips and get ecus together to keep up the league integrity.

With all the resources management has there really should be no forfeits. 2/3 seasons I've been GM have been an absolute gong show but I've never forfeited a game.

 

thats cute. But no. I honestly don't care. And he said he didn't have anyone he joined after I posted ff. And he didn't have 3 people.
And I was kidding apparently he thought I was serious..

I don't understand how a team can forfeit when you have players in the ahl and chl that you can use when i was owner and gm i never forfeit a game in my life the simple step to prevent that is to had every one on your roster your ahl roster and chl players that you have right to has a friend on here and xbox. I agree with some of you if the management cant get 6 together for the two games a day they should be penalize for it and if it happens more then once they should be remove because they are not doing there job like they are ask to do pretty simple.

(and the only reason we forfeited was because I wasn't home. I would have found a replacement had I been there.)

Always has been a problem, maybe slightly larger now that NHL 15 wasn't as strong to begin with. I can see why Brodie's latest announcement is afraid of summer commitment as things are ramping down a lot slower as compared to nhl games in the past.

You can try to reinforce the importance of showing up to games and being commited, but when people just lose interest it's very hard to keep their focus. On the flip side.. There is nothing more annoying than commiting to playing league games for a night and to just have another team forfeit. It's unfair to the guys who came to play, and there definitely needs to be repercussions.
