The Week 16 Final Extravaganza! Post your thoughts here!

Here we are, the end of Season 2!

Our Major will be an old favorite of several of you....we're returning back to Shawshank Lakes! I know PHJ wanted us to use Skipping Stone, and I mustered a -1 for it, but I just don't feel right using it as a Major, and there were enough changes made that I can't consider it as part of the 4 rounds (Par 72 down to 71).

So Shawshank will be the Thurs, Fri and twice on the Saturday course. 200 Points per Player.

Our remaining Tour around Season 2 will be 2 rounds and 50 Points per Player each, and take us back to:

- The Oaks at Westchester
- The Double Black Course at Christina Pines
- Majestic Oaks
- The Kootenai Club
- Wentworth Lakes
- Cypress Pointe

and, by apparent popular request from the masochists of the Tour.... The Legacy at Cape Point...placed at the end so that only the daring can brave that hell on earth! :mrgreen:

18 Rounds to Play....therefore, I give you all 18 Days to finish the season! Week 16 will last until May 14, 11:59 PM EDT.

I hope you've enjoyed Season 2. I'll be posting a feedback forum to discuss Season 3 thoughts and ideas. We very much appreciate any input you can provide us!

I don't know what happened The course decided that after 27 holes it had given me enough birdies and wasn't going to give me anymore. :grin:

It actually felt like I wasn't in control for the middle part of my 4 rounds. If it could go wrong it did. -23 after 27, then -24 after 54! It just goes to show how your game can deteriorate in the blink of an eye. One minute your cruising, the next you are cursing the golf gods as to why you are stinking up the place all of a sudden. :cry: :grin:

 

The Saturday course at Shawshank was a bit of a challenge. I completely understand how a round could totally go to the dogs here. If anyone can go round there bogey free, I take my hat off to them. Have no idea if I've done enough, the capricious nature of this course confounds expectations. I did enjoy the challenge though, every birdie was earned.

 

So for the third tournament I accidentally put in round 1 score in the round 2 on my phone. I'm just gonna post round 2 for round 1. My 2 round will still be the same, unless someone will flip them for me

 

Oh sick then I was 5 under through 8 and it reset and sent me back to the first tee... I should take the hint

I'm just interested to know how you got to skip over 3 tours to play in the next to last tour of the week?? I think maybe that score belongs somewhere else too maybe...lol

 

I have no idea, I pressed tee off and it sent me to that course.

 

Yeah this series of tourneys has a serious problem. I posted this elsewhere but wanted to make sure it was seen asap. I have never once with LT and TGC had to go back when restarting and re-putt the last putt on 18. And never been moved around and had to restart a round I already played. Posted earlier below from my phone when it happened.

"Tourney has serious bugs. I always hit 1st drive on next round b4 I quit. Next start made me do last putt on previous round, twice now. I think it happened in tourney one the first time in round 3 or 4. Finished Oaks round 2, hit next drive and quit. Just restarted and made me last putt again, but this time back on round 1 of oaks. Now it wants me to replay round 2. What the heck do I do now? "

I currently don't know what to suggest for those of you who having issues.

And FYI, while knocking on wood, I always always ALWAYS stop at a tee box, and Exit the Round to get to the Main Menu before I shut down my console (I have both consoles). To this point, I've never had the issues indicated, and always continue where I left off, which is helpful being a Dad of 5.
