Pretty cool how they had cross platform there, would be sick if they could do that with Xbox One and Ps4 online. Hope they bring this year end tourney back too

Looking back now as a Windows guy, God that old interface was fugly.

 

They didn't play cross platforms, they alternated (like home team advantage).

 

Yeah i just went back and watched it saw the 2 systems in the background. Still would be sick if they could cross platform systems. If they bring back the end of year tournament this year hopefully they the multi-controllers on one of the systems, i think you can buy a ps4 controller for xbox one and vice versa.

as mark said, the Regulators were not even close to the best team representing the PS3. No Crybabys should of been the representative, which would of made it much more competitive.

 

Neither were the Cobras but due to the dumb restrictions its the best of both sides

LNd was by far the best team in 09, Yes 13th, DK,Shammers could win on any night but most likely wouldnt take a series... in 09. Cobraz only formed with the players they had after finding the restrictions the Boders couldnt play. Still all good players.

Thats not even the real NHL Regulators, half of that team were on the Gladiators. Most of the NHL Regulators were from Montreal and were not allowed to go to Vancover. Just ask @Kidmoney

 

Not the best Team ???? We were #1 from the start of 09 till the end of it. We had a 157 games win streak lol, until we lost 2 or 3 and Kyle William decided to merge with Gladiators. 7BK did not exist in 09, ask [MENTION=8208]Bass l91l[/MENTION]

At the end of NHL 09 EA held a EASHL 6s Tournament of both platforms. Purple Cobraz won on 360 and NHL Regulators won on PS3. EA flew both teams to Vancouver for the PS3 Vs 360 finale.

 

In the beginning, there was David Littman who created the EASHL. On the first day David said, "Let there be legends", and there were legends. From the trenches of OTP rose players of a higher caliber. Players whos curve-shots, goal-lines, slap-passes and sticky pokes were unlike none ever seen. And David saw these legends were good, and separated the scrubs from the elite. David created a year end tournament where the best could compete for pocket change and a plane ticket to Vancouver. And so the players played, night after night, glitch after glitch until that fateful summer day. Eventually the fattest rose to the surface, spearheaded by the larger than life ego of their overweight leader Domination x21, and the 'pounds between the pipes' known as Gerbox - the frenchies were of no match. On the final day a bunch of men faced off in what would be the pinnacle of their online super-stardom to play a best of seven series of inconsequential games vs another group of guys nobody has heard of on a system we can't remember the name of. The heros won, the frenchies retreated to their 2's clubs, and Jim Dangle cut his wrists so bad in despair that they never had another tournament again.
