Just curious, how did you purchase NHL 16, did you buy a physical disc from a retailer or web store, or buy a digital copy? If so what are your reasons for that choice?
I went digital because EA access saves me $6 and I don't have to wait for Fed ex or fight traffic after work to play it.
I have kids, hard copy don't last long, got tired keep telling them;''DON'T SCRATCH THE CD'' and I was able to downloaded before and was ready to play at 12:01.
A lot of good points about "disc breaking" , or constantly refreshing UPS's tracking website. For me, i remember trying to goto the game store after work, and where i live rush hour traffic is a nightmare. So that alone, i could see why so many now are choosing to go digital. If i was gamestop, i'd be worried, real worried!
all of my game are downloaded. game sharing, not having to move for days unless i need a beer and less wear and tear on the actual system.
I'm all digital this generation...except for sports games that I know I'm going to sell. Got $25 for NHL15 when it went into the EA Access Vault. Paid for most of my EA Access.
I traded in shitty 15 and got about $15 towards 16, so if you dont end up breaking your disc at the end of the year, you can get a good discount for the next one.
Digital so Riemersmaa could give me $40 cash when I was done downloading it. Also EA Access saved me 7 bucks or so
Bought it with hard cash for disc copy so I can't be traced on my purchases. (By my parents) #thuglife
Hard copy because my system purchase came with 20% off all games and equipment for the next two years.
