This will be my last week on LT for a bit. I like this weeks picks so I will finish up here. I just wish we had a better standings and a playoff format. We just plug along here with no real goals at the end of the season other than picking up a weekly win. Looking at the points, CrazyCanuck is higher than Sweeney as both Tours are jumbled together. Wish it just looked a little cleaner. Hopefully next season implements a playoff as I know we did a trial one a while back but apparently nothing ever came of it. If it does, I will be back. I don't understand the standings either? I mean, I an has had 8 wins, yet he is way down the table? Surely he should be top? I hope you'll keep playing Tim, and that we will get some clarification on how the points work etc.
I know LT isn't trying to compete with TGC tours nor do I expect them too. But I just don't feel like we are playing for anything. We did a trial for playoffs but nothing ever became of it. I would prefer a mini playoff format. Not sure why we haven't implemented one. Not even sure what can be done with standings as Silap/Chaoz played down a tour and moved up which is fine but how to do you implement that or where they would even be?
I'm higher than Ian Sweeney? This format sounds fantastic!!!!! But I agree, I only play these rounds if I remember to, but I don't really have a ton of incentive to play.
It's funny you say that. I have something in mind that I was going to announce this following week for people to look forward to. I hope you'll reconsider.
Just looking for something to spice up LT. I don't want to see the Golf part of this site fail. I see membership going the wrong way. You implement some sort of playoffs for people to strive for during the season, I guarantee people will come in droves.
