TL;DR but this stood out to me. Let's not kid ourselves most of the league is happy crass is out because they're a really good team and he's the king of rule book/ rule manipulating. This is getting out of control.

They showed up late and didn't communicate or try to get a ECU. They were just gonna wait till their guy was ready. This should stay as a ff and the staff need to fix the rules in the off season. It's that simple people.

Here is the valid point which has come forward now. Milwaukee was forced to forfeit under nearly the same situation and there was a huge blow out when the forfeit was taken, that forfeit was by the rules able to be called and the ahl called Utica iirc scum bags for doing it. That game was later replayed if staff ruled that game to be replayed they would be working under precedent with this decision, and by sheer coincidence Milwaukee is now on the other end of this. Also of not if that forfeit loss was overturned and Milwaukee won that game it could be argued that got Milwaukee into the playoffs. This is really why on bigger decisions I wish we got threads explaining the reasoning behind them.

 

Ah okay thanks for that then, but still would only change the fact of the teams involved and the funny coincidence. If staff made a ruling the point would still stand.
