Top 5 Draft Picks Prediction

1. @SkillzPayBills3 - If he plays D, he's the best dman in the draft. He's also probably the best center in the draft. Regardless, he's my #1 but opting for a forward spot my slide him below...
2. @jdheagle- - I honestly don't know much about him other than that he's supposedly elite and people know him. Seems like a decent dude. Played against him, offensive power.
3. @j_marz25 - One of the most low key elites known to LG. Should be a lock for a top 5 pick. Versatile forward, best deployed at center.
4. @Kingbling647 - KB didn't impress me the first time I played with him at C. I thought @jonlol was just hyping this kid for fun. Played a game with him on RW and kid knows how to dime drop.
5. @DomSquad100 - Another low key top end forward. A+ attitude and shoutbox presence to boot.

I'm not sure who #1 or #2 are but their stats aren't very impressive.

Something tells me #4 is all influenced by marketing and a solid public image, but I'm not sure.

 

@j_marz25 is so underrated, this kids got mad skill. One of my favourite wingers in the game.

I kinda have to agree with #1 not being relevant at this time. We all know Skills history of being pretty friggin badass at the game but nhl17...not so much. I have a bunch of guys on my list that just haven't been that good in this iteration of the game. Lost their mojo? Too much of an arcade type skill set? The more the game leans towards a "hockey mentality" and a different set of required gaming skills, the further these folks tend to drop. the rest I agree with. Except KB...thats for sure all marketing. And headstands. Lots of headstands.

 

Also, word is that @jdheagle- guy doesn't even know the cod4 maps. Should he even be allowed in the nhl?

i havent played with or against Skillzpaybills, but i think a lot of people just look at how much is current contract is and instantly think the guy is the GOAT. obviously i cant say either way, but no one is ever worth 1/2 a teams cap for 1 player.
