Starting the search for GM of Tucson Roadrunners

Going to start looking for GM candidates for the Roadrunners very soon. This is the first step in compiling our list of players to interview. The first thing I would like to say is that yes it is your team to run how you see fit. But second we want long term success with our organization from top to bottom and we want someone who will not only take this job seriously but also look to make the organization as a whole better and set up for long term success. If you are a one and done type candidate please do not respond here as we want guys who are in it for the long haul and will sign players to multi season deals and guys who want success of there team over all other things including making the jump to the NHL in S5. So if you are looking to take over a team that is a blank canvas for you to build your masterpiece please respond to me in a PM ONLY and we will chat. Just as a heads up we will be drawing up a agreement between ourselves on what the expectations of the season will be and what we would like to see from each other throughout the season. The league is talking about making this mandatory but as of now it is not required. We will be making this part of our organization moving forward regardless if the league mandates it or not. We let you do your own thing but if you are looking to make trades we expect them to be run by us first we also would like you to seriously consider the list of players we will provide at the time of bidding as we have grown a very large knowledge of the talent base throughout the league but by no means know everyone. Actually we let our AHL GM and AGM do there thing so it's not like a lot of other teams. Trust me the LAST thing i want to do is run 2 teams and go through bidding for 2 teams and worry about the roster for 2 teams... FUUUUUCK that shit! I just want the AHL to be successful for the long term and not be an entirely new team season after season...

 

Not looking to be a GM nor AGM, but I definitely like this and good luck on finding the right candidates!

Just a little house cleaning here boys so people don't feel like I am ignoring them. I am receiving all your messages and don't worry if I am not getting back to you as we are still in a playoff run here and my focus obviously is there. That being said I am compiling a list of candidates and will be reaching out most likely in no less than a week or two. I will do my best to respond to each and every one of those that have sent me the PM's and thank you for doing so as it seems a lot of guys actually read the entire message so good on you! I believe we found a couple candidates that we really like moving forward and who match our vision for the AHL team perfectly.
