Season 26 seems like it has more notable removals than previous seasons. With that being said, we shall remember the brave souls who took management and quit/were banned 4 weeks into the season.

Wait. You got banned for saying you'd trade all of your players? Savvy traded all of his players and all of his AHL players two times over, and at least he had a decent team. It's actually somewhat reasonable to trade the entire Islanders team, and I'm sure saying that you were trading your whole team was meant to be a joke. There has to be more to this ban

 

nope thats how it went. my trade got reversed with savy and i said to this child, that i mine as well trade my whole team and quit. he screen shot it and the commishes came to me showing the screen shot and said we no longer can trust you moving forward to represent the league. but yes got fired for a frusteration message saying i should just trade my team. pretty childish situation but whatever. the only thing i didnt understand is why im banned and cant play as a player. bc i didnt quit or 2nd tag. i technically should be aloud to be a normal roster player, but at the end of the day not playing competitive nhl 17 may just be a win for me. good luck to you bossy, hope you get a management chance

As someone who talks a lot of shit, and has probably said worse, I'm disturbed that
A) There is a big enough dork to screenshot brandon saying that lurking among us
B) That a comment that could reasonably construed as being said in jest is all it takes to get banned. I'm almost positive I've made a joke like trading my whole team before.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories or any of the stupid "free whoever" movements people constantly do around here... But.

I'm both of those in this case, and I don't even know @brandonbramanti. It really looks like LG used his comment as a cop out to get rid of a manager who has struggled to build a good team and someone who just isn't very well respected around the league. Granted I haven't seen the exact comments that got him banned, but if this is true then #FreeBramanti lol.

yeah definitely a shitty way yo get fired over an angry quote over a trade reversal. i literally said i mine as well trade all my good players and quit in a few weeks since i got screwed. it was a frustration message and when the commishes came to me about the screenshots i told them it was just frustration. i even said to them, have i sent or accepted any trades since those comments? but its done and over with. it was a fun 2 seasons, even though my teams didnt win. it was a nice kill from reality in my spare time.
