With more sign-ups every season how do you plan on keeping reserve players involved who never get playing time even with the expansion of chl. Every season I see guys just go exile because of lack of participation opportunities.

Also I think that another league possibly a full season with national teams playing for there country at the highest level of competition would be cool. Best of the best by general consensus. Add growth and opertunity and get out of lg xbox shadow. There's a pretty big void for new and lower tier players the chl

 

You've been around for a while Recon so you understand the issue of guys dying on the TC roster. I have not looked at the numbers for S6 but I believe in S5 the CHL was spread a bit thin and the opposite issue was happening where teams had trouble finding players to fill in when needed. CHL is always going to be a tough league to monitor because there will be players not playing often.

Sorry we didnt ask this to Brodie last night. It has been something we discussed before with him so it probably needs to be revisited at some point.

 

New to LG here. I noticed LG has about 3 seasons played out throughout the year for each release. Not sure how long you guys have been running this way, but maybe cutting out that last season and keeping it a 2 season per year thing and extending the off-season a bit more ? Like for example in the summer months, there's obviously no hockey being played. I just think that makes it more realistic in some ways. Having 2 seasons with an extended timeline would give all of us a nice break between each season. Just a suggestion. I'm very excited to give LG a try. Good luck gentleman.

Its an interesting thought. We have had issue with commitment of players towards the end of the Summer season due to vacations or some players getting ready to go away for college. Last Summer it was a big problem and some teams had massive forfeits. On the other side of this discussion is the fact that the layoff between the Summer and Fall leagues is something a lot of players complain about as well. We wait for the new game to come out mid September and wait a few more weeks before the start of the Fall season, mostly I think so that players get used to the new release but still we have players who protest such a long layoff. Both arguments have merit for sure.

No worries brother. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. Doesn't bother me at all. I just think it would balance things out a bit and give players a little rest for the summer months and get ready for the new release. Thanks man, looking forward to playing. All the best.
