Week 1 was not a full week so I will begin power rankings for week two. Power rankings will be based primarily on the standings. Each Power Rankings will be themed with a title featuring an aspect of each team. This week will feature a player making the biggest difference so far on their team's roster. Note: Opinion 1) Complicity 9-3-0 (1OTW) 26 points Complicity has soared out of the gate turned some heads. @Hrriz has been able to make a difference in a huge way. He heads the team with 19 pts. He had a great game (4 goals) against Time 2 Pound putting he creativity and poise on display on right wing. Amazing how his performance has propelled his team to one of the earlier elite teams in ESHL. 2) Turning Point 7-2-3 (1OTW) 23 points Turning Point has added some solid pieces in the off-season. @l 17 l has been the difference for this time though. He is tied for the team lead in goals while only playing in 8/12 games. Out of his 8 games, he has not lost in overtime. The owner/gm relationship from LG between @SweeT 9 LoU 84 and @l 17 l is playing massive dividends thus far in ESHL. 3) Big Baller Brand 7-3-2 (1OTW) 22 points Big Baller Brand, the defending champs, are back and haven't showed any signs of a hangover. Obviously championship teams have several players "making a difference" but my pick thus far is their All-World goalie in @Scheckel29. He has a 83% save percentage and 1.62 GAA. Last season we saw a lot of special comebacks for led by their goalie. 4) Delusions 8-3-1 (4OTW) 21 points Delusions has another strong record to begin the season for ESHL. @Fr33kOnTheStix has been the difference-maker, and has been super clutch in overtime, helping the team to rack up 4 OTW. He has an impressive 22 pts this season and continues to be a major piece to this team. 5) Prophecy 7-4-1 (2OTW) 20 points Prophecy is loaded with talent and it is only a matter of time before this team gets hot. @Gilleh is an elite goal-scorer, with 14 goals so far this season. The puck seems to fall on his stick in the most dangerous positions on the ice. If you don't stop him, you won't beat them. 6) Raw Talent 6-4-2 (0OTW) 20 points Raw Talent returns with little turnover to the core of their roster. However, the one difference has been availability. The reliable player playing at a high level, making a difference, is @lebren. The anchor of the defense has been available for all their games this season with his elite decision-making and high defensive IQ. 7) Time 2 Pound 6-3-3 (2OTW) 19 points Time 2 Pound has a rather diverse roster that has experienced some nice success. The difference-maker/elite goal scorer has been @PlayboiPryme. With 18 goals, he has been the goal machine for this team with the ability to finish around the net. he put up a 4 goal effort against Continuum recently - expect it to continue. 8) Continuum 6-3-3 (3OTW) 18 points Continuum is led by elite talent coming over from PS4 and find themselves right in the middle of the playoff race. @officialmark07 is the difference-maker for this team. A great two-way defender with as high as an IQ in the defensive-end as the offensive-end. He needs to avoid the penalties (18 PIM), because this team needs him on the ice for the Xbox biggies. 9) Rated R 6-5-1 (2OTW) 17 points Rated R is 5-1 home and 1-4-1 on the road, home jersey advantage much? Even with the home-ice strategic advantage, @DeLong x 22 has been the extra piece to bring home the W's. He has been scoring the biggest goals in the biggest games. If he gets hot, their offense can hang with anyone. 10) Composure 5-4-3 (1OTW) 17 points Composure is looking for revenge this season. @Odieeeeee is my difference-maker. Even as a defender, he is second on the team in points (14). The breakout, powerplay, and cycle all runs straight through him and his decision-making. As this team gets more comfortable with their new roster, expect his assist total to rise. 11) Immunity 4-7-1 (3OTW) 10 points Immunity is a new team to the Invite Division this season. @RAMMER HATER is making the most difference with his reliability in his own end and his ability to create turnovers. I think this team will take time, like most teams, to against to the next level of talent in the Open Division, but having a guy like @RAMMER HATER playing as well as he has, this team can compete with most. 12) Simplicity 1-11-0 (0OTW) 3 points Simplicity is a feel good story that just hasn't felt so good just yet. There is talent on this team but they obviously need to play more together and continue to develop chemistry needed to succeed at this level. @GreasyGogan is my difference-making selection here. Tough spot to pick a player on a team with one win, but this guy is a high-end talent/character type of player. He knows how to win and has the experience to keep his team motivated and help them improve.
Love it. Looking forward to more of this. Appreciate you posting content like this as the league and players all enjoy it!
