scouting reports

it would be cool if lg added a new scouting system where owners have to write a description of how all the players play like and would compare too lets just say theres a really good offensive dman with good vision right. the writeup would look like this

(ign)
pos()
type() defensive dman, offensive dman, two way dman
description:
really good vision and puck handling needs to work on defence

stats:
goals assists points plus/minus etc

 

it would also show lg rank in there too somewhere

 

i like the idea in a perfect world but what if owners abuse this system and write up poor reviews just to keep guys from wanting players, or if the player and manager didnt get along and talked bad about them cause of a bad experience. Im not trying to knock your idea cause i think its great but we gotta see it from both ends.

I love this in a perfect world but many management who dont take things seriously will make a joke out of it.

Find a way to eliminate that and this might have some legs

Pros and Cons are fair, but I can see guys making it more for funny one liners than anything.

Example for me if we were looking to make jokes and not be valuable:

Damaged goods after playing a full season with @EmptyLsAwesome

You guys can't even agree on who's a "good" Manager.

You want the (rest of) League to do your scouting for you?

 

What's the number of entries (per player)?

Is it like yelp with pages of notes?

Is there a time limit to how long the reviews are up there?

Is it open to all Management?

 

3 entrie per player, notes delete after a 4th note is added (only 3 can show total), no expiry limit (can AC removal of abusive reviews), open only to GM (AHL) and Owners (NHL, CHL)
