Roster Reset VOTE

Not that this vote holds any sort of value. Thought this would be a way to officially gauge how the players feel towards a potential roster reset heading into NHL 19.

 

If they did a roster reset id want a paid agm back.

the fun of being owner is building a team true the seasons and setting up a dynasty. also im always told, "its a sim league" the nhl doesnt go true roster resets

 

I can already tell you that it isn’t going to happen and that this has been confirmed.

only reason i'd support a reset is because 19 may be the first next gen game that doesn't blow a massive amount of ass. but we've seen it before: beta pretty good, game releases and blows a massive amount of ass.

Owners voted in favor of roster reset, but they still didnt want to reset the rosters...

 

100. thats exactly why even though i enjoyed the beta alot, im not sold just yet. EA has done this before, i hope im wrong

 

What were the results? Also all owners would have to re apply for ownership and they might not even get selected.

 

Fully support a reset for this year.

As Dave said above, this was easily the first beta in years that gave the game solid potential.

This is a year that "quality" players are going to potentially suffer.

Reset would be nice.. Look at teams like Boston, Tampa, & Winnipeg. No "suitable" owners will want to own a team with that little assets & total dud contracts, the only people who'd be willing to take these teams would be those just trying to crack an Nhl roster and the team will have another bad season, a roster reset would bring "suitable" owners back hopefully creating a more competitive, fair season

 

It wasnt a blowout like on this thread, but it was somewhere near 17-12. Not every owner voted obviously, but it was voted through via popular vote..

 

Cant see how that would be a bad thing. If somebody doesnt get selected as owner that means there was a better option. I suggested it in another thread that owners need to meet a certain criteria to even be considered to prevent the possibility of having to play for a chl type player or a 3rd line NHL player at best. Granted there are good players like rehanek who put together a dumpster fire and shit players like yeti who assembled a pretty solid team

 

there almost 70% for the roster reset that should be enough to reset the rosters next season it what is best for the league anyway has the LG president i my self accept a roster reset.

 

There are plenty of assets in the boston organization. Even if there isn't "NHL" talent you don't know who would resign and wouldn't plus you can't even guarantee that those assets will be good or bad moving into a different game.
