EMINEM - KAMIKAZE, Rap game is over.

So this is obviously not NHL or video game related. But I have a deep rooted love for music in general and even more specifically hip-hop. I'm older than a lot of you but I keep an open ear and open mind when it comes to music. And listen to music that ranges greatly between era, genre, artist etc.

In my opinion, this Eminem album should really just end a lot of careers. I mean even if you are someone who likes all that mumble rap (I personally think it's really bad) - I'd hope you give this album a listen because he might wake you up to somethings and shine a light onto how bad some artists are.

I'm going to link a specific song from the album. I love this song because it features my favorite rapper that is "new".

If anyone is into music or hip-hop like I am, I'd love to hear your opinions, rebuttals, agreements or even links to other artists/songs etc. I'm always looking to get put on to new music.

 

I honestly love the album. Have went through it multiple times already.

 

Yeah there's at least 6 songs that are just unreal.

This dude stuffs double entendre all over the place.

 

This was a better album than his last two, and his lyrics are always on fire. But still give this album a 6. i hate ems singing chorus's, but he is still the goat, and better than any mumble rapper.

It'd be funny to see one of these mumble dudes try and diss back. But if they diss eminem then em will prolly end their career

This album is great, but it also has meaning. Marshall knew he messed up his last album. He knew he let a lot of people down, and he knew he could do better. I love Em, greatest of all time. Specially because he is from my City

 

Can confirm, album is sick and worth buying

 

I'm kind of what some would call a "stan". I mean I'm not but since I'm a fan and think he has dropped a boat load of good material it's what some would say.

But yeah there are some really unreal songs on this album. The Ringer, Fall are both sick

"When I die Im going down as a underdog who never lost hope" Sounds like my virtual LG Career. But for real this song goes hard its Eminem at his best for sure

Yeah, I do respect the fact he had the balls to respond though.

It wasn't bad for an average new 2018 rapper.

But it was not bad and I appreciate the effort and sound.

 

To be fair, it was a very blatant homage to the Beastie Boys, if anything. He's been on record saying they were a big influence on him when he was a teenager. I think it's a move out of respect.

With that being said, this release is significantly better than anything he's dropped in the last decade (Recovery, MMLP2 and especially Revival are all garbage in varying degrees). People do need to slow their roll on the talk about how it's up there with his greats. It still doesn't touch MMLP/SSLP/The Eminem Show.

Glad he chose to get Royce and Joyner to feature and leaving the Pink and other pop features nonsense out of this record.
