So we have a kind of “committee” going on. We’re hoping to get LGs staff support going on this, and move forward with it. We have some very good ideas to make this a PSN event. And not a “well this guy played 1 GP so he’s eligible”
Definitely a good idea, i like Hriiz idea "To represent PSN, you should of played last season & this season in the LGHL PSN. Or if you want more talent, XBOX players that want to play, must sign up for PSN before being added to the roster. "
imo if u have a ps4 u should be abele to play in can am. Can am is about the best against the best just make sure u have unbiased owners who will judge just talent and not because they just came from the xbox side. If some xbox players are better then ps4 players so be it.
Many people didn’t get a honest shot at playing for each team. I remember last time this was on PlayStation before tryouts even happened teams had there roster nearly picked out. People from Xbox would come play in event and not even play the next season.
Canada I can’t speak on their behalf. As far as America, myself Jclaus and frost literally held a tryout “tournament”, along with spending about 2 weeks making sure every player got in a game: I gave Jnasty a couple games, we gave the Moran’s a few games, we gave Jcpens 3/4 games, we gave JTryhard 3-4 games, we gave about 10-11 additional people (with all due respect) who don’t belong anywhere near a CanAm roster 2-3 games, including ahl guys who were crying that we didn’t give ahl guys a chance a chance at the roster. So I really don’t want to hear that our roster was “pre picked”. Between people physically not wanting to show up, and between people just not performng to a level we were looking for, we gave everyone a chance to come in and make a name for themselves, and no one really did. With that being said, we have some stipulations in place for this next event (at least those of us trying to get the wheels going on this) on how we want to handle Xbox guys coming in and just taking spots. And it’s something that’ll be unique to ps4, and I think most people here will jump on board with.
I'd be interested in this. What does the roster construction usually look like for something like this?
