How did you find out about LG or why did you get into LG?


I came over from VHL aka "The Merger". I got a bid in the NHL after my first season of VHL in the AHL and the league collapsed maybe a week or 2 into the season I cant remember. Everyone (AgentMurphy (think he was my Owner or GM of VHL COL) and then a couple guys hit me up bc I was top 10 on the VS Leaderboards and played for money on VirginGaming aka WorldGaming at the time

I had a couple of NHL Owners and players msg me to sign up and told me to head over to LG because it was taking over for VHL and already had a website and everything set up as well as a decent number of people already involved and guys from VHL in it. There also wasn't a draft so you went right into bidding as a new player. I was really into the league UOHL and playing VS for money at the time and thats sort of how I made a name for myself to get a bid and then got bid on by BUF and @At43 and @AgentSooksta008 and the rest is history.

(Sorry BUF Family for taking over NYR S18 3 weeks into the season, we prob would of won the cup that season if I didn't leave to take owner only for the league to roster reset at the end of the season lol)

 

Twitter I think. Joined for the hut league in NHL 17. Came back a year later after realizing how much better 6s is than 1v1s.

 

When VHL hit the shitter, I stopped playing for a few years. I wondered what happened to organized leagues and I was glad to find out that this website took over and continues to be supported.

 

I pushed it off for years but was always on the leaderboards until @Wickedly Moist forced me to sign up at gunpoint

 

Joined to play with an old youtuber "dekeasaurus rex", after I got banned, joined again years later for LGUHL until i made the switch to play 6s.

 

I sent @SweeT 9 LoU 84 a easy win message after taking his CR in club and then he replied to me that club doesn’t matter, only LGHL cups do...

 

My cousin @Akiens x 92 told me to sign up for a while but never did... then @Akiens x 92 @Lingross and I signed up for some other league where we met @Hammy x 27 our team in the other league went to shambles when like 8 guys got banned for being cunts before the season even started. @Hammy x 27 then told @Lingross and I to sign up for LG (Akiens was already signed up) hammy said he was a CHL owner and would get us all on his team. So the boys all signed up for s4 of the CHL where @Hammy x 27 snaked the fuck out of @Lingross and @Akiens x 92 and only got me in bidding. That’s the story of where I started to earn my sniper stripes

I came over from VHL when it hit the shitter and joined LG thru word of mouth in season 15 on xbox. I joined the PSN side in season 3 when some friends told me to sign up. Ive been playing mediocrely every since

 

I didn't join any leagues for years because I didn't want to deal with all the big egos and sweaty tryhards, then I finally caved and joined the VHL in NHL 14 and the league collapsed within a few weeks. Came over in the VHL/LG merger.

 

Heard about it on reddit when all I did was play HUT. Was told we could win free cards, so I decided to sign up. However, instead of signing up for HUT, I accidently signed up for EASHL, which I had played maybe 2 or 3 games compared to the 1500games of hut every year. Went through the whole process of scouting game to make the cut back when the CHL was lit.

I was in some random Versus tournament in the spring of 2017 and the guys I was playing said he had to wait until he was done his LG game. I then found the site, signed up and was randomly assigned to the most dominant CHL team in PSN history. After weeks of having my team cheat, second tag and skirt the rules I finished with a sick record, won the Mem cup and was drafted to some bum nhl team. Then I owned the Bruins. Now i enjoy retirement

 

Joined in 09 after a buddy told me about the league. EASHL was already new and fun but this was a whole new level.. i liked when it used to be 10 min periods. Started off on the ol Monarchs and got a team in the N with Phoenix. That was a bit of a shitshow and I think the league was going through the merger at that time so I left competitive gaming alone for a while. A lot of the people I used to play with are still in the N but have either lost touch or are big ego bros. I ran a team in HVHL and won a cup on one of the NHL's. Came back to LG in 16 or 17.

EDIT: I guess the merger was later when I think about it. I think I quit because my team was buns most likely.

 

I got banned from VHL cause my owner was out to lunch.

Went to google and typed "6s League Like VHL for NHL game"


LOL came here S2 CHL DAYS.

I had heard about it in videos from @NoSleeves12 but didn't really think that much of it at first. I was playing with friends and they wanted to play some EASHL competitive matches instead of regular club . I found LG but realized it didn't have a club league besides ESHL which didn't interest my friends. By that point, I had already signed up for the LGHL and I kinda enjoyed it so I stayed even though my friends never came over and no longer play NHL. That was back in S5.

 

I was getting so sick and tired of playing with drop in shitters and i didn't have any friends that played NHL and i got the idea "Hey wouldn't it be cool if their was like a league for this kinda stuff", and then figured out somebody had my idea years ago and i found this league.

Came over in the merger, worst part was @Gary Garoo and I were 15-0 that season in VHL before it folded. I don’t think either of our careers have recovered since
