What is preventing PSN from having a competitive ESHL 6s League? From what I hear most guys like the way the game is played on PSN more, but yet its Xbox side who is thriving and getting the sponsored tournaments. I know there is another league that is trying to start a competitive 6s league on the PSN side, but it would be awesome if one started to be a thing through LG. So I just wanted to see what the community thought about doing a Buy-In tournament for the PSN side.

On ps4, Top teams would rather play vs 3rd liners and with a connection advantage. No homo

ESHL is not meant to be on PSN.

We've tried and tried and tried. It's overall just not meant to happen. UR has a "signup for free and win money" 6s tournament and really it came down to 4 teams who cared.

Past eshl events, even when PS4 was in it's prime was 18 teams, with only 4-6 or so being competitive, and about 4-5 quitting after going .500.

You are barking up the wrong tree, I'm not saying that being emo / pessimistic, I'm saying it because you just simply are.

At this point in time if you care about competitive 6s, go buy a xbox on the cheap and gameshare.

Its just crazy to me to think a competitive ESHL 6s league can't thrive on PSN, when most guys demand a trade, ask to be waived, or quit because they aren't playing with their buddies.

Xbox community is just bigger and like Biggies more I guess. It was fun the one season I played in it but there was only 5/6 teams really competing and like 3/4 that were laughably bad in comparison

People don’t want to play when times get rough. No one wants to play the best of the best they just run.

I've heard the PSN side is larger in numbers now... but that the Xbox is more competitive still.

You’re confusing people living for lg and lg stats with competitive 6s. There are tons of bad players that live for it.

The truth is there’s just not as many good players on PlayStation. It’s not fun to get 6 elite caliber players and then play a team you know is not on your level.

Playstation’s gameplay is better, but its community unfortunately doesn’t have the elite 6s depth that Xbox does. If you want to look at why that is, you would probably have to go back to Xbox 360 having a bigger 6s community and people just naturally moving to Xbox one afterwards.

Hmm. So many people are talking about the balance of teams being lopsided. What if there was a rule that stated each team can only consist of max 3 LGHL players? That way more teams would have LGHL caliber players while also having to look for the best in AHL and CHL?

If an Elite team who would normally have 6 of the best LGHL players, now has to be two teams who are more even out, would that not balance the teams, while still allowing both teams to be competitive?

I get it's probably been frustrating to you, as it seems you have tried to get this going, and that because its failed before its viewed as a waste of time and energy, but I don't mind discussing it.

Most people dont have set teams on psn since there havent been any tourny's since nhl 17 here, so people aren't gonna gather and create teams and pay money to lose to a team like bi. I'd say maybe they could try running a few free tourny's to get people playing with the same people before running a buy in type eshl league, but even then a league like UR with no buyin and a $1k prize barely functioned. As prime said I think it's just not meant to be on PSN. If you really wanna play just sign up a team for NACL and maybe with enough teams psn can have something going there
