ALRIGHTY FOLKS! I have been seeing so many changes in team rosters, it got me thinking a few things. For One, What makes a manager go about a complete roster overhaul? Two, How many times can one player be traded before he is labelled a plug and no longer welcome on any team in this league? Three, What do you guys and gals believe makes a good roster? Four, does anyone believe that playing practice games actually benefits a line? I'd love to have all of your input on these subjects for a write up I want to do! Thanks in advance, your friendly neighbourhood Jenkies
Chemistry > Skills for one. Any team that always play together will be a problem and thats a fact. Good avail, whole line involved in games, practice and skills = great roster Traded thrice in a season does the trick imo 2 rough weeks should automaticaly wake a big roster change unless it was based on tough match ups Also, degraves a bitch
Practice and chemistry is huge IMO. Obviously you need skill and talent but if the players on a line aren't on the same page there are going to be issues, period.
Considering i'm your new linemate, and this is my third team, i'm worried about the question #2. HAHA
What makes a manager go about a complete roster overhaul? Personally not a fan of a complete overhaul, theirs always 1 or 2 on a team that stand out as keepers and when doing an overhaul you try to build lines around those players. How many times can one player be traded before he is labelled a plug and no longer welcomeon any team in this league? Some players just dont adjust to the level of play i firmly believe if you cant make it on 3 teams. Take a step down and try to up your game. What do youguys and gals believe makes a good roster? I think a good roster is 17 players on the same page no matter the overall strategy. A 17 man roster who plays as a team and has confidence will always outmatch skill. Real teams are more like fam homies Shout out to my s6 and s7 moose . Does anyone believe that playing practice games actually benefits a line? Yes period.
Bruh, ive been traded twice and waived once only to end up back where i started lmao not sure what this says about me...
Many good managers win in bidding. Building a solid foundation is key to success, some managers in this league and players panic early and clean house only to make things worse. Most good Gms in LG realize that first few weeks of a season is a trial and error period and season don’t start till week 4. Others call the season before than cause it didn’t work out. 2) some players in this league are OTB every season and every week but there’s always a GM who thinks they can change them and keeps them employed. Others will be career CHL guys cause of the cancer they have brought to teams for so long. 3)chemistry, sometimes the best player isn’t the right player you need players who buy into your system and theory’s to become successful 4)practice helps so many things, when everyone’s on same page it makes everything work. We play as a team all week long. Hope this helped answer your questions
