Last week before playoffs

Hello AHL,
This is popping my cherry for the first media attempt here. I'm just going to touch on where everyone is sitting at and how close some of these fights for a playoff spot are going to be going into the last week of the regular season. This is all my opinion so if your butt hurt please tell me in the comments section


So lets start off with the:

Eastern Atlantic Division - By far the strongest division in the AHL.
Penguins have pretty well locked up first and will be playing either providence or the wolf pack. My money is on providence. They just came off a big win against the cuda second line this week and I think they are gonna carry that vibe into next week. Tigers and the Checkers are definitely a lock for 2nd and 3rd and should have a solid matchup in the playoffs. This series will come down to line matching.

So my prediction for the East Atlantic for the first round is :
Pens vs Bruins
Checkers vs Tigers

Eastern North - Second most competitive division
Americans are a lock for first. If they keep playing they way they are. I call them for the presidents trophy. They got 4 players in the top 10. Rip the monsters first round. Then you got the rocket and the devils who look to be set to play each other first round as well. I find this matchup to be a toss up myself. I was handed a smack down myself by the hands of the Rocket. I feel they have 2 very solid lines and can do some damage. They play a nasty trap and can score. But also don't count out the devils. Pasta and User can carry any line to a couple Ws in the playoffs. Ive seen it myself. Their second line looks nasty as well. I give the rockets the slight edge because I don't have faith in the Devils Defense core. Pasta and User will make this a 7 game series though for sure.

So my prediction for the East north 1st rd is:
Americans vs Monsters
Rocket vs Devils

Western Central - Better of the West divisions.. Both Divisions are pretty trash...
Rampage is a lock for 1st... surprise , surprise.... They have a solid Draft system and work well with their NHL team. Super fun to try to trade with -_- … They will face off vs the Admirals will by my guess...
This is a super tight division from second to 6th place... Second place in the divison is only 2 points from 6th place.... That shit is tighter then a nuns c***… I believe the other matchup will be Griffins vs Wild. Griffins are too good not to make the playoffs. So many VG vets on that team. Ex Nhl players. Just too good not to be there. Wild you have guys like Peace, Mustacho, Frost... Guys that are Nhl caliber but would like to play here for a while and dodge the daily sweaty games you get in the nhl. No offense to the Moose and the Wolves. But I just don't see the depth past the top line to go all the way.

My prediction for the western central is:
Rampage vs Admirals
Griffins vs Wild

Western Pacific - The teams that get scrub hunted aside from a few.
Ahhh finally I get to talk about my previous team this season. I had a solid hand in building this contender. Shit obviously didn't go the way I had planned. AGM moved to regular player then traded at the deadline within a couple of days by two guys you had thought were good buddies... Hey shit happens people get snaked. Sometimes laundry gets aired out lol. Anyway aside from my rant and somewhat bias opinion on this divison ill go to say Barracuda are sitting on top of the divisions no where to be caught. They are all locked up and praying for a matchup vs the Heat round 1. I feel the heat have a harder schedule then the Condors this week and will fall to 4th and will have a very tough first round matchup vs the cuda. As much as I love to rip on Greek I feel like he has assembled a decent arsenal to make a push but into the playoffs. Wont be easy for the cuda but the cuda take it because of their depth. As long as Cuda second line can get back to winning ways going into next week here. Which leaves the second matchup to the Condors (most elite) and the Eagles. Eagles came out of no where after the trade deadline and got their shit together.. they are firing with all lines and are seriously dangerous. This series is going 7 but I give it to the condors because there are just way too many big dick swingers and no one other than 1T to herd all the goats. I am completely bias and ive accepted that.

Philly your public enemy number 1. The only thing I’ll have to cheer about this season (since I’m no longer on a contending team for the Calder) is knocking you guys out of the playoffs ☺️ I really hope we get you guys first round (while the rest of my team doesn’t )

i spent 6 weeks on two shit teams and we have similar save percentages, so yes.

 

Cudas 2nd line will get back to winning but now they fortunately have a 3rd line that wins as well. Crazy how that happens

 

Lmaoo of course scrubs go look at other peoples records to try and throw some stats at you to make themselves feel better about themselves.

I’ll take the Ws over my own stats any day. So trash talk my numbers all you want but I enjoy winning better.

 

A lot of shade from an old friend. But hey I understand make it about yahs. But it is what it is.

 

But I still have more wins in the AHL lol, this is my only season where I'm at .500 lmao
