Montreal Canadiens vs Carolina Hurricanes Spoiler: Lineups Canadiens Lineup: @Gabseh - @Karmuh x 86 - @Meestah Don @Lorenzo x 24 - @rG Breezyy - @HazeeHype @SpenceDangles - @Nuge - @Anthvass14 @I HDC I - @MxnsteR 95 @trevwings - @Mxtayer @Polarities - @BraZz l 36 l @Charyzen @Wild Edits Hurricanes Lineup: @Malchesky - @mR Hit DaT - @Tendy @P0RT0V - @TheFunkyH - @The Gr8 Haxby @Ducksfanwaterloo - @Best in Ottawa - @Breaky @Foote - @GeT MuTeDD @JerseyDevils 27 - @daveydonuts522 @GIJoe Destro - @Skuttlebut @Perrilyzer1 @EgoKiller43 Spoiler: Closer Look The Canadiens added to their depth from the previous season which ended up being the reason they didn't move on in S31. They have two top lines that have been mostly dominant all season long and finally have a third line that should be able to win them some games adding even if @Nuge and @Meestah Don are swapped. The Hurricanes have essentially been playing "playoff hockey" for weeks now as they were last in the league at the end of week 3 and needed a monster push to even sniff the playoffs. The knocked out Tampa Bay via the tiebreaker on the last day of the season which saw both squads lose both of their games. Mostly everyone has improved over the course of the season, but it's just hard to see Carolina winning more than a game or two against a Canadiens team that seems poised to go deep this season. What Swings the Series? FWDs: Prediction: Montreal Canadiens in 5 Toronto Maple Leafs vs Boston Bruins Spoiler: Lineups Maple Leafs Lineup: @Zigg989 - @MarcoGoes5H0LE - @viv Fritz viv @johnwaynee90 - @R0tes - @detee ef @Proud Gay Dad - @Franchise Matty - @JTresatti @Joorrdan - @Vaporize 17 @Landy Byng - @Lauxey @l3l Ray l8l - @BlG LEW 69 @its Gallyy @Smellykickbutt Bruins Lineup: @Stifmeister x 7 - @ThaiUp34535 - @TacticalSwim @TBS x P1R4T3 - @ArchambauIt - @xMongeon @y05hiii - @Duky - @xDubz 17 @Los Pitross - @xRICKOSHAY @I St Michel I - @Suter x 20 @TabarNUCK - @Kroneez @iTub3 @BEAUPRE o Spoiler: Closer Look Boston has another season where they saw some great individual performances over the regular season with @Stifmeister x 7 winning the Rocket Richard and the Art Ross trophies. They have most of their big names back including @TacticalSwim and @ArchambauIt . In addition, their 3rd line had a pretty decent run during the regular season. Their defense seems to have gotten a bit worse, however, and it could cost them against the Leafs. Toronto has a line that won 20 straight games, though they haven't been as incredible in the last couple weeks. Their "West Coast" line has been impressive as well, but who knows, maybe the Bruins have the dedication to start searching 20 minutes before game time and steal home-ice advantage? This series seems a bit unpredictable, but I'll say some heroics push this series to 7 games. Two pretty stacked G7 lineups make this sort of a stalemate, but I'll give the edge to the Leafs because they have a better chance of ending this series earlier than Boston does. What Swings the Series? DEF: Prediction: Toronto Maple Leafs in 7 New York Rangers vs Ottawa Senators Spoiler: Lineups Rangers Lineup: @NYR95 - @D4D USA - @Lyons x 63 @Vcek - @mferra32 - @Givemedings16 @l S4K l - @l Sakic l - @PieR Talent @Daddy Dill0n - @Lingross @Jaxx Pr - @Ragey23 @ScottLAX18 - @Big Wet May @BizyBounce @I KiLLTarTED I Senators Lineup: @Tb ToXiC - @PureRippin - @Coreymac27 @John Bri I 7 I - @OBrien x 8 - @Rivzky @JTavares l91l - @Dip City Don - @SuDzy92 @LiLNickaI93 - @FiBERSTiCK @Schwifty Tip - @MiNiNooch l3l @Neomop - @DocoPunk @BDR Malk 71 @Darcy Kuemper Spoiler: Closer Look Similar to the Canadiens, the Senators got much deeper this season which alleviates their biggest issue from S31. Unfortunately, the Rangers have some great depth of their own which should lead to this series being a close affair with plenty of one-goal games. There seems to be someone on every line that can steal a game for both teams, so this one feels like more of a tossup than the other series. I don't think this series goes the distance, though. Rangers have a lot of proven playoff performers on their team, so it makes sense to give them the edge even if it could be decided by a couple bounces. What Swings the Series? DEF: Prediction: New York Rangers in 6 Philadelphia Flyers vs New Jersey Devils Spoiler: Lineups Flyers Lineup: @Sbass19 - @DeeSa Ali - @shmurds @iAMoee - @Dr Tre 2001 - @kcut @sh4rpshooterrr - @TehBass x 27 - @B0SS of B0SSES @Gwan - @AKA DA GIBBS @ka2good - @Sokastr7 @brandonbramanti - @Brassard x 16 @Mr Blain3r @Denisov x 42 Devils Lineup: @Zarvek - @Capitalize x94 - @Position banc @Costello x 13 - @ScaryJoeyy - @BkheadshotBk @lxl MLGesus lxl - @III BELIAL III - @m3x1cAn NiNjA @xXDR3AMK1LL3RXx - @Really Good Dad @PeteyMaCx11 - @justlax10 @ySnowy - @TPForMyBungCole @RoaringViper @TheyCallMeRevv Spoiler: Closer Look The Devils were a bit of an underdog team this season. They are almost an entirely different team from last season (and almost entirely different from the Devils that started out this season). They made a couple good moves early on getting @Capitalize x94 and @ScaryJoeyy which really pushed them into that playoff contender spot. Late season pickups of @m3x1cAn NiNjA and @Position banc seem to fill out their offense fairly well, but is it really enough against a Flyers team that finally seems ready to win? The Flyers top line will be tough for the Devils to beat in this series, and their second line is also a tough challenge. Seems like the Flyers might be able to just overpower the Devils, but one or two great individual performances could give the Devils the offense they need to have a chance at an upset.
