With the ESHL season 9 playoffs just around the corner, I thought it would be interesting to look at the production of our fellow ESHL players throughout NHL 19 (Season 7-9). I decided to only do regular season and tournament stats to level out the playing fields since not everyone had a lot of post-season success / appearances. Keep in mind that season 7 was the best of 1 tournaments, therefore some players may have more games played than others due to their team’s success in those events. Despite that, I felt it was necessary to include those tournament games to give me a big enough sample size of games for everyone. I looked at points per game for the skaters and save percentage for the goalies. Another thing to keep in mind while looking at these stats is with the more games played a player has, the more their numbers tend to balance out, whereas when a player has fewer games played their stats can really fluctuate. I rounded all these statistics to the nearest hundredths and went through all the players stats to make sure that they were indeed on forward, defense and or in net. If a player played a minimal amount of games at a certain position, I simply didn’t include their statistics for that position. For example: Doughty x l8l has most of his games played on defense and has a small sample size of games as a goalie, therefore I did not include his goalie statistics. The only requirement that I took into consideration while calculating all these statistics is that a player MUST have at least 40 games played altogether. I mostly based my player selection off the current season 9 rosters but also tried my best finding players from past ESHL seasons (season 7-8). This is by no means a thread indicating someone is better than someone else based on statistics since a lot of things can come into play in personal stats, for example the team around the player, the type of build the player uses, the style of play of his team, the player's role on the team, the number of shots faced, the number of games he has played, the quality of the opponents, and so on… This is simply to shed light on players that perhaps don’t get the recognition that they deserve offensively, and or in net but also to look back at the success of individuals in NHL 19. I thought this was a interesting take, let me know what you think! If I missed anyone within this criterion, please let me know and I will add accordingly. Thank you and I hope you enjoy this thread as this took a while to do! Best of luck to everyone in the playoffs, Cheers, Lemelin Spoiler: LEFT WING @Moesof17john : 2.52PTS/GP (58GP) @P t P 10 : 2.52PTS/GP (44GP) *(24GP on DEFENSE with a 0.88PTS/GP) @o Crazy Legz o : 2.39PTS/GP (46GP) @VI17AIN : 2.33PTS/GP (75GP) @Gabseh : 2.29PTS/GP (73GP) @Class Act 27 : 2.13PTS/GP (71GP) @l1l Bones l3l : 2.12PTS/GP (67GP) @x Hendry 91 : 2.08PTS/GP (51GP) @mR Hit DaT : 2.06PTS/GP (63GP) @Stifmeister x 7 : 1.84PTS/GP (68GP) @John Bri I 7 I : 1.75PTS/GP (51GP) @Sbass19 : 1.71PTS/GP (55GP) @Oo TheMvp oO : 1.69PTS/GP (55GP) NINETY EIGHT: 1.45PTS/GP (56GP) Koho: 1.37PTS/GP (41GP) Spoiler: CENTER @Lehkonen x 62 : 2.95PTS/GP (41GP) @ThaiUp34535 : 2.65PTS/GP (40GP) @CaLL Me Jakoo : 2.48PTS/GP (54GP) @McLxvinn : 2.14PTS/GP (83GP) @PureRippin : 2.10PTS/GP (77GP) @MarcoGoes5H0LE : 2.02PTS/GP (48GP) @JClaus33 : 1.92PTS/GP (50GP) @McFleuryyy : 1.87PTS/GP (46GP) @jared2112 : 1.81PTS/GP (57GP) @Sitful : 1.80PTS/GP (69GP) @cj142 : 1.63PTS/GP (43GP) @ScaryJoeyy : 1.61PTS/GP (80GP) @Duky : 1.35PTS/GP (46GP) Spoiler: RIGHT WING @Schwatz I83I : 2.51PTS/GP (45GP) @SoY LoS 19 : 2.30PTS/GP (83GP) @Karmuh x 86 : 2.05PTS/GP (76GP) @x Fisher 81 : 2.00PTS/GP (44GP) @Tendy : 1.99PTS/GP (75GP) @DeLong x 22 : 1.88PTS/GP (59GP) @Jemima : 1.86PTS/GP (63GP) @Coreymac27 : 1.84PTS/GP (44GP) @TIN045 : 1.70PTS/GP (44GP) @Aye Keeks : 1.69PTS/GP (68GP) @shmurds : 1.63PTS/GP (76GP) @React 10 : 1.61PTS/GP (49GP) @B00YA : 1.49PTS/GP (49GP) @TacticalSwim : 1.38PTS/GP (42GP) @detee ef : 1.30PTS/GP (54GP) @Tayyyzzzz : 1.22PTS/GP (37GP) *Dismissed his 3GP on DEFENSE Spoiler: LEFT DEFENSE @NYR95 : 1.09PTS/GP (54GP) @Doughty x I8I : 1.08PTS/GP (64GP) @SkillzPayBills3 : 1.04PTS/GP (53GP) @Gwan : 1.02PTS/GP (89GP) @Nuge : 1.01PTS/GP (68GP) @officialmark07 : 0.96PTS/GP (71GP) @Spooer69 : 0.95PTS/GP (43GP) @Desjy99 : 0.93PTS/GP (42GP) @I HDC I : 0.92PTS/GP (63GP) *Did not include his 14GP as a G @ka2good : 0.92PTS/GP (59GP) @Wavy Nana : 0.85PTS/GP (53GP) @iTz x Luigi x : 0.83PTS/GP (65GP) @ReV Hellcat : 0.73PTS/GP (44GP) @TurboYuri : 0.71PTS/GP (42GP) @x TERRY x 77 : 0.69PTS/GP (48GP) @BlueLineKing7 : 0.44PTS/GP (41GP) @CornwaIIace : 0.32PTS/GP (37GP) *Did not include his 7GP on LW Spoiler: RIGHT DEFENSE @LemeIin : 1.30PTS/GP (50GP) @kcut : 1.15PTS/GP (47GP) @Yung Gren : 1.06PTS/GP (53GP) @Dannyy Briere : 1.05PTS/GP (42GP) @Odieeeeee : 1.04PTS/GP (73GP) @Nraimondi44 : 1.04PTS/GP (49GP) @Redmile89 : 0.94PTS/GP (49GP) @FlowMaster Joe : 0.93PTS/GP (73GP) @DEC3PTIVE 1 : 0.83PTS/GP (41GP) @SamDelisle9 : 0.81PTS/GP (80GP) @Vaporize 17 : 0.77PTS/GP (53GP) @Dups77 : 0.74PTS/GP (85GP) @GeT MuTeDD : 0.63PTS/GP (41GP) @Curi0sity : 0.58PTS/GP (48GP) @Ragey23 : 0.43PTS/GP (44GP) @ZuKe Zuchegno : 0.38PTS/GP (48GP) Spoiler: FORWARD/DEFENSE @ICExCREAMxTRUCK : FORWARD: 2.18PTS/GP (22GP) / DEFENSE: 0.75PTS/GP (32GP) @SweeT 9 LoU 84 : FORWARD: 1.60PTS/GP (25GP) / DEFENSE: 0.78PTS/GP (23GP) @Auggy98 : FORWARD: 1.54PTS/GP (13GP) / DEFENSE: 1.04PTS/GP (28GP) @DeeSa Ali : FORWARD: 1.48PTS/GP (27GP) / DEFENSE: 1.08PTS/GP (26GP) @Str8Syko__ : FORWARD: 1.29PTS/GP (21GP) / DEFENSE: 0.55PTS/GP (33GP) @mayweddaa : FORWARD: 0.62PTS/GP (13GP) / DEFENSE: 0.44PTS/GP (34GP) Spoiler: GOALIE (Sv %) @lx JoneZ xl : 90.69% (85GP) @Perrilyzer1 : 86.96% (78GP) @BDR Malk 71 : 86.68%(51GP) @F R i K S x 9 9 : 86.03% (58GP) @Kernsy : 85.33% (43GP) @Scheckel29 : 85.32% (49GP) @jonlol : 85.30% (30GP) * (14GP on DEFENSE with a 0.79PTS/GP) @HuskGoat : 85.06% (51GP) @Charyzen : 84.83% (63GP) @XGEnErAL 420X : 84.68% (47GP) @drally20 : 84.51% (71GP) @KingKonz- : 84.42% (54GP) @its Gallyy : 84.12% (54GP) @Darcy Kuemper : 84.09% (51GP) @o S m i i t t y : 83.97% (57GP) @TheyCallMeRevv : 81.52% (43GP)
You didn't have the required 40GP to be included. Nevertheless, on center, you have 2.48PTS/GP through 27GP (Not including your 2 games at RD and 1 game in net).
Great write up, we need more media for ESHL to keep people engaged. It’s tough to do points per game when there’s teams scored 10-15 goals on and the scheduled is “random.” If everyone played the same teams then yeah but probably better to do wins or win% Either way good write up though and a lot of stat digging, I like it. Keep up the good work
I absolutely agree with you when it comes to the random schedules, but that's out of our control. The thing is, winning% is more a team related stat therefore, most players on the same team would have the same winning %, if not very similar. The only exception to that would be the guys that have played on different teams throughout these events. You can also say the randomness of the schedule could factor into that winning %.
Yeah for sure but is it a better measurement than points per game? Win % can only give you a win loss or otl, whereas like I said there have been games where teams get 10+ points which skews the shit out of the measurements. Again though, great work and it was a good read. We need more media for ESHL, Its one thing that really seperates LGHL and ESHL is the media and stats leaderboards that keep the people coming to the forums and caring aboutbthe leagues or events.
I remember I looked into your stats as you are a very known goalie, but you didn't have the 40 games required. However, in 35GP, in season 7 and 8 regular season combined, you have a 85.54 Sv %.
Don’t think he did playoffs bud because they are skewed based on more teams going farther than others which affects some of the stats
Whats the point to get 10points in a game vs shitters if you can barely get 1 vs good teams, tbh ppg means nothing.
