Thought I would make a mock draft to educate some owners on s32’s top prospects. This list is based off stats, word around the league, and players who i’ve personally seen their skill whether it’s via club or LG. I have ran this list through multiple people to help tweak the rankings so I believe this is ALMOST as accurate as it can get. Obviously there will be some off picks but that’s just how she goes. Best of luck in s33 to everyone, cheers.

**Note that the first stats listed are regularseason stats and the second stats listed are playoff stats*

Without further ado, the s32 Round 1 Mock Draft:

    1: @LemeIin RD (No Stats)

A no brainer pick if there ever was one.LemeIin is one of the best defenceman in the game. He has dominated the esports scene and is EASILY the first overall pick. Not only is he worthy of a 2m contract in the NHL, but is an absolute STEAL at that price.

    2: @Doughty x I8I LD (No Stats)

In pretty much any other draft in recent memory Doughty is easily the first overall pick. However, with his d partner Lemelin in the draft he slides to #2. He has phenomenal esports stats and is a great defenceman. Just like Lemelin, Doughty is a steal on a 2m contract in the NHL. One of the better dmen in the game makes him a no-brainer pick at #2.

    3: @Beaudy x 91 RW - Florida Everblades (20-2-2 80 points 45 goals 35 assists +58 17:00 PIM) (7-1-0 35 points 21 goals 14 assists +7 4:00 PIM)

Beaudy was supposed to be a top 5 pick in the s32 draft but was taken out due to a ban. He has had back to back unbelievably good seasons in the CHL and can easily fill a top 6 forward spot for an NHL team. He’s a very nifty player, with great hockey IQ and good thumbs. This combination of skills should allow him to put up good production in the NHL.

    4: @lxl Swerve lxl C Sherbrooke Phoenix (18-5-1 82 points 37 goals 45 assists +57 19:00 PIM) (5-0-0 19 points 8 goals 11 assists +17 5:00 PIM)

Swerve had a great season for Sherbrooke. I have heard nothing but positive things about this guy and his offensive presence has caught the eye of some NHL owners. Really smart and skillful players which makes him worthy of this 4th pick

    5: @Bardown Beauty C Moncton Wildcats (7-0-1 35 15 goals 20 assists +23 0:00 PIM) (4-1-0 16 points 11 goals 5 assists +12 4:00 PIM)

Bardown came into the league half way through the season and immediately put up 4.37ppg, dominating the CHL offensively. He plays lots of club with good players and has gained interest among many NHL owners. His ability to play a big league style gives him a great chance to find his way on a NHL roster.

    6: @MacDonaldI97I RD Moncton Wildcats (11-5-1 20 points 4 goals 16 assists +1 37TA/170GA 16:00 PIM) (3-2-1 15 points 3 goals 12 assists +5 21TA/53GA 4:00 PIM)

MacDonald is one of the more interesting players in this draft. His stats don’t stick out this season, but he is known throughout the nhl community and plays club with a lot of “biggies”. Add in his esports experience and it more than makes up for his lack ofproduction. I would be shocked if he drops past 6th overall. While he can play bothforward and defense, MacDonald signed up as defence this season. With the defencemen pool being so limited in summer season, MacDonald on a 2m contract could be very beneficial for an NHL team.

    7: @hTz iNasty LW Sherbrooke Phoenix (18-5-1 101 points 46 goals 55 assists +57 16:00 PIM) (5-0-0 19 points 6 goals 13 assists +17 4:00 PIM)

Nasty led the entire CHL in points AND goals! He’s always playing club and is the type of guy who is eager to learn and grow as a player. Look no further than the huge jump he made from his first to second season as evidence of that. With elite production and the willingness to play club and improve, Nasty goes from undrafted in his first year of eligibility to a top 10 pick this season.

    8: @T R I C K x9 RW Acadie-Bathurst Titan (16-4-1 54 points 22 goals 32 assists +17 6:00 PIM) (9-0-2 25 points 11 goals 14 assists +12 9:00 PIM)

The leader of the Titans rookie line, Trick slots in at the number 8 pick. Although his stats don’t jump out at you, Trick made a deep playoff run going 9-0-2 with 25 points and leading the Titans one game away from the Memorial Cup. Trick has probably moved up rankings more than any other player and people around the community can’t stop talking about this guy. With arguably the best thumbs in the draft class, Trick has a good chance of earning himself a roster spot on an NHL team.

    9: @ThAtZ CyLvEr C Baie-Comeau Drakkar (22-1-0 23 points 1 goal 22 assists +50 71TA/128GA 14:00 PIM) (2-0-1 1 point 0 goals 1 assist +4 14TA/19GA 4:00 PIM)

This one might be a bit controversial, but at number 9 is Thatz Clyver, despite the fact that he switched from defence to centre. If not for this change, Clyver easily could have been a top 5 pick. His stats speak for themselves as he had a phenomenal season where he won 22 games and finished a whopping +50. Despite switching to center, I still think he’s a top 10 pick. A stud, offensively gifted d man who switched to forward before the draft? I feel like I’ve heard this before. Oh right, ever heard of @Moesof17john ? Will Clyver transition as seamlessly to forward as Moes did? I’m not sure, but his skill and production can’t be ignored.

    10. @SWAT krakenQc LW Regina Pats (17-2-1 84 points 41 goals 43 assists +63 31:00 PIM) (4-0-0 15 points 12 goals 3 assists +10 8:00)

The first of the Regina Pats rookie duo, rounding out the top 10 is SWAT krakenqc. With a remarkable 4.2 ppg in 20 and a +63 in just 20 games, there’s no doubt in my mind SWAT is worth this pick. His ability to dominate on both ends of the ice gives him a good chance to contribute to an NHL roster.

    11. @PolarPenguin RD Peterborough Petes (21-2-1 27 points 4 goals 23 assists +40 61TA/205GA 21:00 PIM) (1-2-0 6 points 0 goals 6 assists +6 12TA/27GA 11:00 PIM)

PolarPenguin is the next man off the board in our mock draft. Penguin held down the back end for the Petes, finishing with 21 wins. He checks all the boxes you look for in a d man: great defensively (+40 on the year, 61 TAs), offensive skills (1.13ppg as a d man), and the ability to win games (21 wins). A great two way d man, Penguin will make whatever team that draft him very happy.

    12. @DeathByDecay LD Peterborough Petes (21-2-1 25 points 4 goals 21 assists +42 57TA/117GA 28:00 PIM) (1-2-0 3 points 1 goal 2 assists +6 5TA/15GA 0:00 PIM)

Everything I just said about PolarPenguin can be said about DeathByDecay. It’s no wonder theycombined to make up the most dominant d pair in the CHL this season. Death is good defensively and makes good decisions with the puck (only 117 giveaways on the season). Death is absolutely worth this pick on his own merit, but if able to be paired with Penguin they could provide an NHL team with a solid third pair for 2 seasons.

    13. @crisse de cave LW Regina Pats (21-5-1 88 points 39 goals 49 assists +49 24:00 PIM) (4-0-0 11 points 3 goals 8 assists +10 2:00 PIM)

At 13 we have crisse de cave, the second part of the Pats dynamic rookie duo. It would be tough to find a player with better production than Crisse this season. 21 wins, 39 goals, 88 points, and +49. At 13 you’re getting a 200 foot player with the production to back it up. Like the Petes d pair we just discussed, if a team managed to get Crisse and Swat together, they would lock up their third line for the next two years.

    14. @TertleToes LW Niagara Ice Dogs (17-6-1 62 points 34 goals 28 assists +28 4:00 PIM) (11-1-0 41 points 21 goals 20 assists +27 2:00 PIM)

Coming in at 14 is none other than TertleToes. Don’t get me wrong, 17 wins, 62 points, and a +28 are very good stats. However, it’s not his regular season that jumps out, but his incredible post season. Tertle went an incredible 11-1 with 41 points in the postseason while leading the Niagra Ice Dogs to the Memorial Cup. One of Tertle’s greatest strengths is his ability to stay on the ice (just 6 PIMS in 36 games). A great two way player who has shown the ability to win big games makes Tertle a great pick here at 14.

    15. @KesselySnipes420 LW Edmonton Oil Kings (18-3-2 84 points 34 goals 50 assists +42 8:00 PIM) (2-3-1 4 points 2 goals 2 assists -3 5:00 PIM)

Picked at 15 is KesselySnipes. Some might say this is too high for Kessely, as he played on a line with arguably the best player in the CHL, @Streetsmurf . However, a player who’s able to last a full season playing with the hot headed Streetsmurf must be talented. Kessely has shown the ability to supplement highly skilled players by getting them the puck in good spots and burying the biscuit when they find him in space. This is an underrated skill that could make him highly desirable to teams.

*DUE TO PSN STATS THIS PLAYER IS NOT DRAFT ELIGIBLE. My apologies.*

    16. @JHubbs92 C Niagara Ice Dogs (17-6-1 54 points 20 goals 34 assists +28 16:00 PIM) (11-1-0 24 points 10 goals 14 assists +27 10:00 PIM)

Two way centre with a Memorial Cup under his belt. Great compliment to offensive winger.

    17. @lxChowder71xl RW Victoriaville Tigres (17-3-4 76 points 32 goals 44 assists +35 4:00 PIM) (5-1-0 16 points 8 goals 8 assists +9 2:00 PIM)

Skilled winger who rarely takes penalties. Well suited for the upper leagues.

    18. @EAAAAAAAAAAAARL LD North Bay Battalion (18-5-1 18 points 1 goal 17 assists +3673TA/93GA 2:00 PIM) (0-1-0 1 point 0 goals 1 assist +0 2TA/2GA 0:00 PIM)

Defensive d man able to lock down the back end. Stood out despite being on a below average team.

    19. @DDezo LW Toledo Walleye (18-4-2 69 points 25 goals 44 assists +17 12:00 PIM) (6-1-1 16 points 8 goals 8 assists +9 6:00 PIM)

Incredible 3s player with great thumbs and ability to put up points. Must adjust to upper league style, but the skill is there.

    20. @Niixps C Sarnia Sting (16-5-2 71 points 40 goals 31 assists +24 18:00 PIM) (3-1-1 17 points 8 goals 9 assists +11 11:00 PIM)

Two way centre who has a knack for scoring goals.

    21. @P3P1N x 89 LW Quebec Remparts (16-5-1 82 points 37 goals 45 assists +40 43:00 PIM) (0-2-0 1 point 1 goal 0 assists -9 2:00)

Offensive winger has shown the ability to produce impressive offensive production. 43 PIMS makes me concerned about his discipline.

    22. @l TMLP l RW Sarnia Sting (17-4-1 69 points 36 goals 33 assists +18 43:00 PIM) (3-1-1 20 points 10 goals 10 assists +12 6:00 PIM)

Great regular season stats and scored a whopping 4 ppg in playoffs. 43 PIMs is a concern.

    23. @Steeler8820 LW Acadie-Bathurst Titan (14-6-1 42 points 22 goals 20 assists +14 12:00 PIM) (9-0-2 22 points 13 goals 9 assists +12 4:00 PIM)

Member of the Titans rookie line. Shown the ability to win big games. Solid chatbox presence.

    24. @LittleJayXoXoGG LW Acadie-Bathurst Titan (14-6-1 47 points 29 goals 18 assists +10 20:00 PIM) (7-0-1 13 points 6 goals 7 assists +12 8:00 PIM)

Smart player who makes simple plays. Nothing flashy, but can adapt to various play styles.

    25. @FndigBigfootBobo RD Sarnia Sting (13-1-1 16 points 1 goal 15 assist +27 43TA/69GA 13:00 PIM) (3-1-1 4 points 0 goals 4 assists +2 18TA/18GA 4:00 PIM)

Simple d man who rarely makes mistakes. Impressive -23 TA/GA.

(Also a PSN Guy. Sorry about that!)

    26. @beeversbaked RD Hamilton Bulldogs (18-4-1 16 points 1 goal 15 assists +37 68TA/106GA 12:00 PIM) (2-0-0 5 points 1 goal 4 assists +5 4TA/7GA)

Defensive d man who makes simple, smart hockey plays. Nothing flashy, but will make very few mistakes.

    27. @CH1l1X LW Peterborough Petes (21-2-1 65 points 44 goals 21 assists +44 20:00 PIM) (1-2-0 6 points 3 goals 3 assists +6 0:00 PIM)

Nack for scoring goals. 21 wins in the regular season, but took a step back in the playoffs.

    28. @KnifeVet22 LW Gatineau Olympiques (12-12-0 63 points 35 goals 28 assists -8 26:00 PIM) (No Playoff Stats)

12 wins and 63 points on an awful Gat team. Could truly shine if placed with more skilled teammates.

    29. @throwingheat14 LD Toledo Walleye (17-5-2 23 points 2 goals 21 assists +31 64TA/158GA 12:00 PIM) (3-5-1 10 points 2 goals 8 assists -7 26TA/61GA 2:00 PIM)

Disciplined, two way d man with the ability to powerplay the breakout.

    30. @Artremence C Peterborough Petes (21-2-1 54 points 23 goals 31 assists +41 33:00 PIM) (1-2-0 8 points 5 goals 3 assists +6 4:00 PIM)

Great defensive center who takes pressure off his defensemen. Slight concern with PIMs and lack of playoff production.

    31. @Hawksfan4444 G Acadie-Bathurst Titan (27-11-4 86.3% 1.79GAA) (15-3-3 88.5% 1.36GAA)

Best goalie in the draft. Great regular season and upped his game in the playoffs. Could easily hold the crease down in the NHL.

Lol he’s fine. The problem with him is that he doesn’t know enough English to articulate a full clear sentence. Whoever drafts him should have some French linemates in mind.

I *think* he had retired before the draft and was never eligible to be drafted in the first place. That's why he's eligible this time around. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

He is eligible, he didn’t play enough games since being drafted to be an A, so he is still a P. Hence why back in the draft fam
