***DISCLAIMER*** I tried to come up with a quick way to rate the teams and assign each team a team rating without applying any bias. I used Season 9 rosters, and gave each player 2 points if they were on a playoff team, 1 point for each player who was part of a team with 10 wins or more but didn't make the playoffs. Team average was the average points applied to each player from the Season 9 standings and their current roster. I then broke the teams up into 6 tiers and gave teams a Team Rating from 0 to 5. Some rosters were not completely there on LG as some teams did not return for Season 10 and I did not count for subs. I only used season end rosters. Again this was very quickly done and there are probably quite a few flaws in the formulas to decide team ratings. Here are the teams with the toughest schedules for season 10: You can see all the team schedules and ratings here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...YpxTa6DrOL7tnIbGETK4sX8vYn6tTCqIQrog/pubhtml#
If this is sarcastic and you think you should be higher, I don't disagree with you. I tried to come up with a mathematical way to give a base of the strong/weak teams based on S9 rosters/standings to help determine strength of schedules for everyone. I think overall, its does a good job of this. I wish I had thought of this earlier so I could come up with a better formula, but even then, rosters werent due until the night before and the schedule came out 12 hours before we started.
Yea no worries haha tha was sarcastic, you did a hell of a job brother! We didn’t play S9 which is why we got a 0 haha. Good work brother!!
I should take everyone's win/loss record from S8 and S9 and use that to help determine SOS but gathering all that info would be a huge pain and time consuming. I wonder if Tris can easily pick that info up and provide an overall win percentage for all teams. That would be the most beneficial way to determine SOS for everyone.
It would definitely be, maybe you wouldn’t need to do a google doc and everything, would be way easier and you’d have more time to do your pads on your goalie
