Idon't believe the you quit bc you guys paid for a player in a trade, that's a dumb rumor but whatever came up if you guys were doing good no chance either of you quit


Quitting is for losers. It puts the league in a bad spot, your team in a bad place and your players (and in your guys case friends) who signed up and show up to play for you in a bad spot.

Having to quit bc of work or health is one thing but just flat out quitting is embarrassing. I'm sure you guys have done excuse (since your ban is only 2 seasons and not 3) but both of you quitting the exact same time, you're lucky they didn't cap ban you guys

ALL Bans/Quits should come with a chatbox mute no buy out until the ban is up. Keep these people out of the chatbox where they are once they quit

 

Side note, the league moving forward @LG McDonald @ShortyxLOSE @Josh l96l need to do a better job to prevent players and managers from quitting. Message them, try to talk them out of it, see what's wrong, see if you can help fix an issue or situation. I know it's not your fault and you shouldn't have to do anything bc it's not your responsibility, it's theirs; but it would def help and in some situations could prevent these things and the trickle down effect they have across the league and on NHL teams and AHL teams with trades and call ups, as well as future NML losing people who are usually very good managers

Hi. Banned here.

Lets clear some water. First things first, there was no payment made. The FACT someone said I paid for a player when I'm dead last and a cancerous team, and a team full of friends and seasons of me trying to get players like this banned and for me to then supposedly do it, is whack. I actually put a quit in (no one knew cause I didnt need attention) in week 2. Stoner left, short a Dman bad avail, people on vacation, server issues one week that then caused our avail to be fucked with players having 50+ notifications to lack of communications was the set off. The recipe to anyones summer season.

WhY DiD yOu BiD oN bAd AvAiL? Simple. We decided to bid on our friends. Which is why young Jared was thrown a 9 mil bid, followed by a trade at 9.5 mil. I think the ONLY person who knew we were gunna be bubble or bad team was RGD.

The fact is I've had bad teams, many, one was with Sweet Lou AHL team and I was learning the ropes and lost players, got EGOed and still hung around.

The matter is every time near the end of the season whether I won or lost or was a top team, I wanted to be done after that season. Obviously that didnt happen. I swore to myself I would never do another summer season again because for some reason I feel the game becomes worse and worse and worse. YET HERE I WAS. Off season of LG I always get pumped for bidding, the plans, discussions, and I find myself back owning again and again and again.

Everybody has personal issues, and people are right, Im sure if we were first (like anyone) people find a way to have a balance to make it work. Your team is usually a lot easier to self manage and you dont have to get on or ask if they're even gunna play.


Why are we acting like we're the first people to ever quit? I did what I never thought I would ACTUALLY do, and thats quit and especially never thought I would quit on my buddies. I know we weren't as bad as standings show, I just couldn't do it anymore I took the bitch way out. DO I have things going on that effected my decision? Yes. But thats not for me try and make people feel bad because thats everyones reason for quitting when having a bad team lol. I actually quit before yesterday but still made sure the boys were on and got ECUs and tried to finish the week. I also was informing a BOG when I couldn't get the team together but I knew there would be people because I would hate to see a FF week 3.


End of the day I took the "bitch" way out as shorty would say.

I don't regret what I did but I certainly didn't ever want to do what I did.

 

League does gets stale the 3rd season of a game, which is why many people always say there shouldn't even be a summer season or people don't sign up. The MGMT teams are usually weaker in the summer and it's when the league has the most bans/quits, which effect the first season on the new game next season. On top of that bidding is always the worst in summer. However, it does give a lot of new managers a chance to step up and make a name for themselves as well as players to fill those empty spots of guys who didn't sign up and gives other guys a chance to at out of position which is why some people really like summer season

For these reasons many have suggested ws should try another route, IHL tournament all season, ESHL only, weekly 3s and 6s tournies, FNP type things.

The lure of bidding, building a team and playing with your buddies or out of position in the summer is what always keeps people coming back, but unfortunately we see things like this happen time and time again bc people get sick of the game or have bad availability.

The worst part for me is the managers and players we lose for the following season on a new game which is usually when there is the most hype every yr. We lose 2 quality managers since you both will be in the NML now and now your team will have to make love sided trades to field a team, will probably be a bad team the rest of the yr from one that was competitive and will have to take guys from your ahl team or another teams AHL to replace either your guys or other teams players who replace you and the trickle down effect is always felt across the league. On top of that, your players who signed up now to play with you guys might quit or get banned. It's just a bad situation, which is why it'd be nice if the league stepped in and tried to prevent these things or we could find better ways to help these teams or prevent stuff like this from happening.

But like you said, one can simply just not sign up and I'm sure both of you will buy out your bans and go to bidding next season as players. We hope to see you guys back, sucks you quit though

I think all of this sucks for everyone involved...Nothing positive comes out of these guys quitting.
