Love it.

- Game speeds faster
- Little to no incidental stick contact or bumps
- Harder to play D, feels like theres more space on the ice
- Scoreboard sucks move it back and enough with the edm festival on my screen every time we get a PP
- There's an actual skill gap which is amazing, hence all the randoms complaining in this thread
- Passing obviously needs to be fixed
- Love how goalie react slow to good shots, they shouldnt be able to sit in the back of the net and make saves like they have in recent years

We're averaging 5 goals in game in biggies which is the way it should be.

 

I think the game works fairly well other than puck pickups are way over powered, I like how as a dman it’s easier to intercept passes and you don’t have to be right next to the person and make it easy for the forward to sticklift you and get the puck right back, but up ice passes are impossible and very unrealistic

 

The play by play name call needs to be fixed.
The goalie needs stop reacting to passes putting the goalie into a save animation sucks.
Fix the hitting and the over protecting the puck making a guy miss a check in unrealistic.
Better saucer passes and better accuracy

 

NHL 19.2 with a shitty clock overlay

 

-Glad we're done with abusing LT - Finally feels like natural hockey
-Passing needs a little work but I love the fact that you can't force passes anymore
-Shooting animations are pretty good so far
-Keep in mind we are playing the a version they had on May 26th
-Scoreboard of course
-Goalie animations seem pretty good
-Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen last year regarding the beta and the full game...sorry there's actually going to be a skill gap now

Stop bitching about everything. This game is strides ahead of NHL 19 and overall gameplay. Sorry you can't unrealistically LT around people or pass straight through the defense.

 

Stick lifts need to be buffed back to how they are in 19. You can hit A while beside a player 10 times and not get a single lift.

 

I feel like this game is built for 14 yr old youtubers with the presentation graphics holy shit it looks and feels so amateurish

 

Do not change anything especially related to shooting.
Put some work into passing.
Polish some pickup animations.
Best next gen chel.

 

The bad. Scoreboard is terrible. Bad placement. Bad graphic effect. Bad layout.

The Good. Skating to me feels smooth. But that's me. You mind find it different based on how you play the game. I did see some cool shit in the game. Goalie was making more realistic moves. The highlight of a good player after each period is nice to see, although it is a time sucker.

I've only played the EASHL mode so I can't speak for other parts of the game.

 

If I had a choice between great and terrible I would lean towards great but not using the word great at all hahah. Passing is a little weird now, and sometimes I see some random stuff still. But I would say less than before. Last year's game was for every good there is bad...I think this year it's a little more like 2-1 good.

Plus...anyone see the Beta/early play for Madden???? At least this game does change compared to others hahaha.

So I would say trending positive. "Trending" key word.

 

Oh yeah one knock. TIME - Not the scoreboard, but time - give us the option of where to put the scoreboard and time and what not...make it a settings option

Felt weird to be skating up and having to look down at the same time...I might start playing downward instead of up hahaha

Passing is crap. Goalie is crap. Feels like playing nhl 94 with better graphics

 

I think the game has potential ... a few major bugs that need to be fixed before release though .... for goalie ive noticed the goalie will drop into butterfly sometimes in its own and slide either away from the puck or towards it slowly and your locked into the position also auto cover won't work sometimes or even manual cover skaters shot animations need to be tweaked more as well same with the defenseman warping the puck into the back of the net when trying to pick it up in the slot ... also would like to see gm connected and also being able to have full access to legends so you can do a franchise fantasy draft with them

 

Also cant forget ... wth happened to the actual nhl team goal songs ... they should be putting those back in the game and allow club users to choose them for goal songs

 

I like the commentary. Way better. Shooting is more realistic. I would recommend adding some in game replays where broadcasters talk about a specific play or hit or goal that happens during games. Fighting and realistic player scrums in between whistles. Would like to see refs jump in and break shit up. Small touch but realistic. Post game highlights could be a bit better and more realistic. Lastly, please fix the servers. None of us want to deal with DR errors. Please give us the option to unlock NHL authentic arenas for club upgrades.

 

Fix Five Hole on goalies, or make it easier to move around in butterfly. Half of goals I’ve been scored on have been five hole where my player doesn’t even react.

Deflections are too common now.

Fix Autocover.

 

Love the no bumping, hate one timers, need to fox passing I feel like on 19 the passing is much faster and way smoother, also sometimes I feel like I have perfect stick lifts or pokes but I am not rewarded for playing defense they just get the puck right back

 

They had a full year(or 9months) to make 20 and they only added some shot animation. Like REALLY? On top of that they give us a Beta which they admittedly told the new features are not 100% ready... lol. I can already tell the game will be dead by October.
