All stars hate losing. Lines that poach weaker teams hate losing.

All stars make sacrifices in their personal lives to achieve greatness. Lines that tailor their schedules to low hanging fruit sacrifice their weeknight banquets and threesomes.

Focus, determination, commitment = scrubhunting = all star.

With how bad NHL trap and turds style hockey is, you could theoretically rack up points against any team -- good or bad. Even top lines can get beat this year with the right connection and turd.

A lot of work would go into figuring out value, but i like the idea of limiting player selection per team (maybe 2?) to help recognize the players who were on pace for great years, but on the wrong team to maintain it. Cause if they were on a top team, it could likely be their name we would be discussing right now. In terms of all star skill, a lot of lesser known players have more skill than top guys, but lack exposure/opportunity.
