STOKES @Stokes x l13l has had himself a great first season in LG going 18-2-0 in regular season and 5-0-0 at this moment in time in the playoffs. His stat line which we will get to, is also very impressive. Not only has he produced on PSN but hes also done well on XBOX side with an amazing 19-2-2 record in regulation and as of right now is 4-0-0 in playoffs. I'll only be talking about his PSN stats which are: Very Impressive to say the least. I've asked him a few questions and here they are: Q: Player Build? A: "6’2 176 PMD - Ever met me" Q: Play Style? A: "Offensive minded Dman. Good at finding open players and handling the puck. Can also clamp up in the defensive zone." Q: What position should u go in draft in your mind? A: "I personally believe Im a top 5 player in the Draft. Can play and produce with just about anyone." Q: Do you think you can play in nhl next szn? A: "I believe I could definitely slot into an NHL Team’s top 4 next season. I can adapt to the players around me and can make an impact right away." Q: Are you playing both consoles or just psn? Honestly this may be the best draft coverage PSN has ever seen. A Q&A and highlights with some top prospects is really awesome to see. Glad you're doing this and hope you keep it up!
Not saying this guy isn't good, cause I've never seen him play before, but when someone says they "can also clamp up in the defensive zone" I expect very good OEE, SAF, and TA stats. Out of all CHL Defensemen who played at least 20 games, Stokes Ranked 128 for OEE and T-183 for SAF, and I know Takeaways are hit or miss with what EA counts but to be 303 out of 311... not a good sign of being able to clamp.
I think you’re looking too far into advanced statistics. I’ve won 24/26 games with a good +/- and proved that i can create offense (even though points dont matter as a dman). I might not have a good OEE SAF or whatever that means (never met it) but its not a fluke that I win almost every game I’ve played in the CHL. I get that its the CHL but I even stepped up in a few NHL games this season and won 2 games with the 2nd to last team in the standings. One was with a full ECU line against the Ducks.
Never said you aren’t a successful Dman... I always hope the best for DPs as I was one in S10. I just like looking at stats
