The Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, formerly known as the Lady Byng Trophy, is presented each year to the National Hockey League "player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability


LG Lady Byng - The winner of the LG Lady Byng needs to meet the following criteria as we are pushing the award back toward HIGH Standard of play but MORE IMPORTANTLY being a good or well respect person around the community.

- High standard of playing ability - Min 18 Wins, 27+ games played (no missed games, FFs were negated)
- Known as a nice person in the community
- active in the league
- active in the chatbox and forums
- limited or no trolling/scumbag antics

Lou went for 8M in bidding, played with 2 rookie wingers all season on the 3rd line in @Steeler8820 and @T R I C K x9 with @Pattelite/ @Auggy98 and @Colonel20 on Def. He took AGM for the Leafs when @Joorrdan was put on the NML. He played 28/28 possible games and only had 8PIMS.

Skoden was on a 750K contract and was resigned by MIN for 1M. He played 4 weeks with MIN going 8-2-2 before he was traded from top seeded MIN to LAST PLACE BUF. He proceeded to go 12-2-2 for BUF helping them turn their entire season around and vaulting them into the last seed in the east to make the playoffs on the last day. Skoden played 28/28 games this season and only had 8PIMS.

Winston went for 2M in bidding to Tampa. He was one of the highest paid Gs in bidding. He played a 50/55 possible games. He played mainly with Tampas top 2 lines all season.

@Pattelite - Ratted out @SweetLou9208 for the better of the team but is deemed a scumbag/rat for that move, also 38 PIMS

So im losing the Lady Byng, because we got FF 3 time and i havnt be able to play all my games (only player without a PIM here btw hihi)

You only had 17Wins as well, measurement for high standard of play this season based on league wide records was 18. You had a great season though and no PIMS is very impressive. I think only you and @Auggy98 finished with 0PIMS and 16+Ws

Not let the other team FF. Help them grab ECUs. Talk to their players, talk to their mgmt, hit up their ahl. I’m sure there were a lot of FFs that would of effected peoples stats for awards. There shouldn’t be any FFs in the NHL ever. The NHL has more FFs than the ahl and chl which doesn’t make any sense bc we can pick from both of them. It’s unfortunate

I love Winston, but if you're using PIMs as some type of threshold you can't possibly include goalies in this.

 

still find it absolutely mind blowing that teams find ecu's for a team they are playing against. didn't mvp/mafiaman do this one season and beat the other team like 69-0 so people cried anyway? Couple of blowout games and the awards, leaderboards, etc. all get skewed cause you're playing full lines of bots. I completely agree there should never be forfeits in the nhl cause you have so many ecu options, but if the other team doesn't give a fuck let then let them get in trouble for forfeiting so they can be removed from management and the league can find someone else who cares enough to not forfeit games. Most times having to worry about your own team is enough of a hassle. Imagine the day the league forces you to field a line for a team that you're supposed to play against?! Absolutely insane... your "job" in this league as a manager isn't to help every other team in the league succeed. Just take the forfeit if they're literally telling you to take the forfeit. every. single. time.

 

Loving how close the voting is for the Lady Byng. I voted Lou but Winston would get my votes as well if I had another vote to use. Goodluck dudes!

Lou tied for 7th least points in the league, got carried by @T R I C K x9 all season who was a late first round pick with nearly double Lou's points, and the guy is a self-absorbed asshole in the chatbox every day. How on earth did he make this list?
