    I might end up returning as the Owner for Vancouver for Season 35. If I do, I'm looking for a GM. They can do as much or as little as they want, I'm open to a Do-Nothing or a Do-Something GM.

    Trying for the worst record in the NHL next season? Dont you have enough of those records as a manager in the AHL. Its almost an automatic trainwreck, they should require AHL success at management before accepting a manager to the NHL. JUST MY SIMPLE AND HUMBLE OPINION.

    There's just no benefit to having goalies as managers, you're best off finding a duo who doesn't want to do very much and getting them to pick you up as the do it all AGM. It's nothing personal, but even if you're a good manager you're starting off in a huge hole.

    I agree with that 100% no goalies should ever be a owner in the nhl or GM u will never have success cause no goalies are worth the free contract the most a goalie ever goes in bidding is like 3M.

    Goalie owners have had success in the past on both consoles. 3rd line owners(like myself) have had success.

    Players shouldnt be restricted based on a position. If they wanna own let them own

    It's a flawed system for goalie owners... It sucks but it's not changing any time soon. Your best bet is what @Stewkos suggested where you come on as a "do everything AGM". There's risks there too going in that you need to be cognisant of... But unless you're a bidding and trade freaking wizard, it's too much of a hole to come back from in my personal opinion.

    If you have two skaters you trust worth solid contracts that you can team up with, go that route.

    It's not impossible to do it as an owner. But it's really no different than 3rd line skaters owning.. or GMing for that matter.

    If you're serious about trying for a cup, you need to AGM as a goalie. You need the cap value when it comes to the playoffs and figuring out those game 7 lineups in the end.
