Merry Deetmas LG (deathstwr99/Cloutkaniemi Update)!!!

Merry Christmas everyone! I just wanted to provide everyone with a little extra holiday cheer today by giving you all a very special "Merry Deetmas" update. For those of you who don't know the story, Deet was involved a very serious car accident earlier this year, and we're extremely thankful that he is still with us to celebrate this holiday season! Deet still has a long road to recovery, but has been in great spirits lately, and has especially been looking forward to today! I've got some legendary Christmas photos to share with you all, please enjoy!


I'd just like to give a shout out too my group of LG friends (almost all of us met playing in the CHL 12 or so seasons ago) who all contributed to providing Deet with these spectacular "Secret Santa" gifts that are featured in the above photos, and to once again wish @Cloutkaniemi a very merry Christmas. I hope you like your new Kotkaniemi jersey, and I hope you got a kick out of seeing DJ in his dog jersey. Fun little note, DJ stands for David Jr. Yes he named his dog after himself when he was younger . To everyone Who tried helping and sent their best to Deet/Cloutkaniemi after the accident I want to specially say thank you but honestly this community came together at that time so thank you for that have a happy holiday season and here’s to hoping that 2020 is better than 2019

He started talking in our private Discord group again a few months ago, made me so happy to talk to him again. He's recovering well, been in high spirits and is always fucking around with us. Love the guy, thank you all for all the support you guys continue to give to him. He's a great person who's reading all of the support from you guys. Oof ❤

AYOYOYOYOY glad to see you are up and at um bud

 

Thank so much for all your support to David. It is really helping him to recover and get back to his “new normal” he has two more surgeries on his left and right legs . The left leg is his good leg and he is getting the knee cap fixed because it got displaced in the accident and he has ligaments that are torn. So that’s planned for Jan(I’ll let you know when , once dr tells us) it will be done at st mikes in Toronto than next is the right leg, which has a rod in it and the kneecap was broken in half that’s willow feb or March . They are both big operations . He goes to physio 3 times a week and has speech therapy twice a week and goes to a class every Wednesday. David is a fighter and talking to you all on Xbox is helping him be positive. It’s a long road but he will kick ass and get better. Thank you guys for being there for him. You are all superstars. Some heartwarming stuff. It’s always lovely to see people come together and provide support through hardships. This is a testament to what the power of a community can accomplish.
