They usually don’t let owners drop down to manage ahl right away just FYI, especially ones that built a second place team

@LG McDonald this is the type of dogshit I'm talking about

    ZeRo-l92l this season: 7-14-4 -22
    Oglowkey this season: 7-14-3 -38

But really... look at the numbers

    Zero - First 4 weeks - 0-9-2 -25
    Oglowkey - First 4 weeks - 0-9-2 -41

Zero - After they acquired oglowkey for week 5-9: 7-5-2 +3
Oglowkey - After being traded to zeros team/line: 7-5-1 +3

    Prior season?
    Zero 12-12-3 54pts -4
    Oglowkey 13-8-4 40pts +10

They've proven they're NHL quality players. They had 4 rough weeks in dogshit situations and then proved down the stretch they can win in the NHL. But because of those 4 rough weeks they'll probably get a pass to go back to the AHL and get easy wins.

There are things I can't/won't say publicly about Washington but I will state that I do not believe either of these guys should be forced to stay in the NHL / NHL management and they should have the opportunity to drop back to a lower level.

There has to be a line drawn somewhere otherwise a bunch of guys who have played 3+ season in the NHL will just decide to sign up late and play in the AHL. Which will cause more god teams and the league will become top heavy because people will just get all there buddies to sign up late change usernames and pick them up cheap.

If anything you want more good owners to move up but the NHL is so toxic that no one wants to manage in that league for longer than a couple of seasons.

I think the League should make the top 2 AHL gm (regular season) and the Caldercup winner move to the NHL for the next season if they take management. That way if they choose to stay in the AHL they will be exposed to bidding. The no contact AGM's of those teams will also not be able to take no contact AGM for the next season. They can either take a GM role or be exposed to bidding

Same goes for CHL Owners if you Win the Memorial Cup or the Presidents trophy ( top team in the regular season) you should have no option to stay in CHL Ownership for the next season. It's either move up to AHL management or don't take managerment for the next season.

As for Managers who are trying to move down from the NHL to the AHL there should be restrictions. Here are some ideas that I think are fair
    1. You haven't played more than 3 consectitive seasons in the NHL
    2. You don't have a 15 win season in your past 2 Seasons (player maybe 20 for a goalie)
    3. You haven't been banned for quitting in the previous 2 Seasons
    4. If you won a Stanley Cup as management you are not allowed to manage in the AHL

That’s dumb, legacy can’t be build that way or records for most cups in that league can’t be broken, also what about the managers that aren’t good themselves but only good at building teams? Let’s say they only put up 15 wins in a season but they have the best team and just play on the third line. Has to be fair. Players should be able to stay in their league if their caliber of play matches the league.

Did you just say legacy and bring up records when talking about the 2nd & 3rd tier of virtual hockey?

What the hell is going on

It literally takes 1 minute to look into someones stats.

I've been saying this all season about a bunch of current AHL managers that are hiding in the AHL when they could be NHLers, you guys aren't being singled out. Hence why I started my post by tagging Brodie and saying this is the type of dogshit I've been talking about.

You can say you're trash but we both know you guys would very likely build an OP AHL team together. You're both above .500 NHLers (if we remove 4 of the worst weeks in terrible situations) and have both already dominated the AHL at one point. There's literally no logical reason for you guys to step back to the AHL other than to put up easy wins instead of grinding out that 7-5-1 record you guys had together in the NHL
