Well, here we go again. Media has been lacking, for obvious reasons but still, I had some time on my hands so let's give this a shot. My Round 1 predictions were... lack luster to say the least, but fuck it congrats to the teams that moved on. So let's get right into it. Western Pacific Finals Colorado Eagles (1) vs Tucson Roadrunners (2) The Eagles did what they were supposed to in Round 1 and made quick work of the Firebirds. Now they get closer to the oh so scary Conference Finals for them. It won't be an easy task to get back there though as the Roadrunners also made it look easy against the Reign. I did think the Reign would put up more of a fight, but it goes to show that the system in place in Tucson is now working better and could give the Eagles some trouble. I still believe Colorado has more firepower to break through and win this. But a few bad bounces could have this series go either way. I see the Eags taking this in 6. COL in 6. Western Central Finals Manitoba Moose (3) vs Grand Rapids Griffins (4) Well well well, I went 0 for 2 here in my predictions. Can't say I'm sad about seeing Milwaukee being out tho. The Playoffs Neil factor is real. I also might have underestimated the Moose's depth in my previous writeup, I apologize for that, but this is a brand new series. Both teams have a lot of question marks in my book, probably the hardest series for me to give a prediction. Both teams have a lot of good players, how the line matching is gonna work is going to be crucial. I will give the edge to Neil here on that part. I see this one going to 7. GRG in 7. Eastern North Finals Rochester Americans (2) vs Utica Comets (4) The defending champs made me swallow my words in Round 1, good for them. Utica also made Binghampton look like the 4th seed in their series. Both teams had key additions late in the season that have made quite the difference so far. Could be some high scoring games in this series. Who of @Shloopsgotpoops and @Snipesx74 is going to make the difference here? Definitely going to be an interesting one. Will give the edge to the defending champs based on their experience alone. ROC in 6. Eastern Atlantic Finals Bridgeport Sound Tigers (1) vs Charlotte Checkers (2) The Test Lines are about to faceoff in this one. I bet you this one will be watched closely by some. Could be some fireworks. If you ask me, I give the edge to the Sound Kitties in net. I believe we have the better offense overall and the defense could be seen as 50/50. Key to the series might actually be BRP's ECU use . I still believe in my team and see us making the upset here. Roast me please. CHA in 6. Good luck to all the teams still in the dance, unless you're playing us. Hope everyone is enjoying their Holidays. Moron
Me watching Neil attempt to line match properly: Me seeing Neil mentioned twice in our teams write up:
